Hi, everyone!!! Guess what? I'm not dead. Surprising, right. I hope you guys are alive too. And doing well.

I feel like I can't apologize enough. My mental health wasn't doing well and I had very difficult and tiring final exams. It must be getting boring for you to hear the same excuses over and over and I'm sorry. Sorry, sorry, sorry.

Thanks for putting up with me. I love you all so much. Your messages of support, here and on Tiktok, have managed to make me feel better every time. You are so patient with me and I'm so thankful. You are a strength and a motivation to write. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I haven't given up on this story. AND NEVER I WILL. Good news: now I'm on summer vacation! I hope I can really write as much as possible this summer<3

Bad news: I never saw Harry's birthmark and it's putting me under pressure tbh.

If you are still interested in the story of Yasemin and Elijah, here is a new chapter. It isn't the best one, but remains crucial for the progress of their relationship. The one bed trope is getting closer, I promise. I LOVE YOU!

"Elijah! What's up with you today?"

Our PE professor Mr. Owen let out a soft whistle.

"Who are you trying to impress?"

Elijah's gaze came straight to me.

What little air I had left in my lungs after exercising was pushed out in one swoosh. He looked back to Mr. Owen, not answering. I thought I could successfully preserve an impassive expression, but when the professor's attention drew to another student, Elijah destroyed my hopes, his head whipping back to me.

"You," he mouthed, smiling.

A shy smile skillfully slipped out of my hands and onto my face before I could smother it between my fingers. His own smile grew wider, all candid and breathtaking.

Oh, fuck you, Elijah. Back off from my heart.

A few days had passed since the library episode. Exams would begin in two days, marking the end of October and the beginning of the following month. Aware of the students' stress at its peak, the administration of our wonderful college thought of nothing better than to organize our first official P.E. session, so we could clear our minds.

Fuck P.E. class.

Mr. Owen split us into two teams, which would rotate between two disciplines: 3x500m race and hurdling. A stone weighed down the inside of my stomach when I realized that Elijah and I were not together. So I had to take my eyes off the warmth of his smile as he walked off to the other end of the big field.

Leaving me to face the sharp bite of my other classmates' scorn for twenty minutes of pure physical pain.

Twenty minutes by which time my temper had shattered like a fallen porcelain vase.
