Chapter 22 - Green-haired Hot-Head

It's the fact that I'm at school right now.
Anyways, apologies for the ever so late update. I was having yet another identity crisis lol. Chile- this chapter may be bad. I wrote this in a sick state.

Luz and Willow walked to the fire pit where many gathered. Most were still inside. Some decided for a swim. Luz would've loved a swim but she didn't know

Regardless, Luz and Willow somehow sat next to Amity. And though Luz flashed Amity a smile, Amity looked straight ahead, as if avoiding Luz.

"Alright witches, time to play truth or dare?" Boscha said

"What are we? 12 year olds?" One remarked. Boscha threw him an unimpressed look and waited for him to crumble at it. He did, sinking into his chair.

"Ok, uh I'll go first— you—" she pointed at the same boy who made that earlier comment "What's your name?"

"Uh—I'm Ryder" he gulped

"Ok Ryder, truth or dare?"

"Uh—"

"Don't be a pussy," Ryder's presumed friend next to him says "pick dare"

"Uh dare" Ryder answered

"I dare you to try and ask Skara out on a date?"

"Skara'll kill me" Ryder shivered

"Precisely. Now go" Boscha watched as He mustered up the courage to walk over to Skara, who was sitting by the pool. Nothing was heard but he came back holding his cheek and pouting. No better time for Boscha to take a picture

"What's she say?" Ryder's friend questioned

"I told you time and time again, I'm a lesbian" Ryder quoted. His friend and some of the others bursted out laughing. Luz did not find it funny. Oh she should have

"Something Not funny?" Boscha asked her

"You know Skara was a lesbian and still made him go ask her, why?"

"Because he tried before" Boscha answered "and he needs to know his place

"That's rude"

"I think it's your turn, new kid" Boscha said quickly "truth or dare?"

"Boscha, you don't have to—" this time Amity spoke, her voice soft but in a warning tone. Boscha didn't even look at her as she repeated her question "truth or dare?" This time harsher

Was Luz supposed to weigh her options? She didn't know this person, even by reputation but everyone seemed to be afraid of her. She had no secrets so what the hell. "Truth" she shrugged

"You're annoying" Boscha muttered. So she did want to embarrass me with a dare, Luz smirked. Sighing, Boscha spoke again "fine, is there anyone unlucky enough to catch your eye?" Did she have a crush. Immediately Luz thought no, but she thought about it. Visibly. And it made Amity shiver for some reason waiting for her answer

"Yeah I guess," Luz shrugged again

"Who?" Boscha gagged

"Uh—"

"You don't have to say anything, Luz, she asked you a question already" Amity stopped her

"Shut up, Amity. Come on Luzer, who is it?" Luz clenched her jaw and fist but beyond that, didn't show that she was troubled

"Emira"

"Amity's sister?" Boscha exclaimed, bursting out into laughter

"Boscha, that's enough. This is supposed to be fun"

"This is fun. You are the one who's dragging it down" everyone's mouth hang open. Never in the history of ever had anyone witnessed distraught between the two. If they weren't so afraid of both girls, they'd probably grab popcorn

"Prying into someone's life is not fun"

"Amity, are you trying to ruin my party?" Boscha groaned "because if you are, you can just leave"

"Maybe I will just leave" Amity countered

"Fine"

"Fine" Amity got up, dramatically, and walked back into the house, leaving everyone in confusion (excluding Boscha. She turned her head and huffed)

It may have been entertaining to watch but the scene made Luz uneasy. And frankly, she didn't want to be near Boscha any longer. With the excuse of going to use the bathroom, she followed the green-haired star student into the house, only to lose her in the crowd.

"How hard is it to find a green-haired hot head?" Luz grumbled to herself. And even then, she couldn't hear herself.
