AMELIA'S POV
I need to see her and tell her to buck up her game before she even thinks about dying. I need my sister. I can't lose another sibling.
- Amelia : Owen? Where is she? What OR?
- Owen : She's in the ICU. We don't have long
- Amelia : What? Why aren't we operating?
- Owen : We can't. If we removed the shrapnel she bleeds out before we can stop it. Even in an OR there is such a small chance
- Amelia : You can't tell me that she's going to die. She's my little sister. I'm supposed to die first. Not her
- April : Come on. Let's go see her. Where are Isabella and Andrea. She'll want to see them
- Amelia : Arizona is coming with them. I need to see her
They're lying. She's probably sat in there, happy as larry. Not hurt at all. Just playing a prank on me.
- April : It's not pretty
- Amelia : Just let me in. Please
- April : Okay
That's not my sister. It can't be. Whoever that is has a piece of metal through their leg and wires all over their chest but it isn't my sister.
- y/n : Amy
- Amelia : What's going on? What happened?
- y/n : Train
- Amelia : Okay sh. Don't try to speak. We're doing everything we can. We're going to save you
- y/n : Amy...
- Amelia : No. I can't lose you. I lost Dad and I lost Derek. I won't lose you
- y/n : I'm sorry
- Amelia : There's nothing to be sorry about. You're not dying. You're my baby sister, you're not allowed to die
She'll live. She has to live. I can't lose her. She is such an important part of my life.
- Isabella : Mom?
- y/n : Bells...
- Isabella : Mommy?
- y/n : I love you
- Isabella : Can I hug her?
- Arizona : Be careful
I need to see Bailey. Anyone who can help her because I won't let her go without a fight. She's a fighter.
- Amelia : Is there anything we can do?
- Bailey : Shepherd, if we could do it, we would. We want her to have as long with you all as possible. She's not in pain
- Amelia : Bailey please. She's my sister
- Bailey : I know. I'm so sorry. Just go and spend time with her, tell her you love her before you let her go
How am I supposed to say goodbye to someone I thought I'd have forever with? There were a few years as a kid that I lived without her but I barely remember those. She's always been in my life and now I'm supposed to say goodbye and move on with my life.
- Amelia : Hey
- Isabella : Can they do anything? You're always saying they're kickass surgeons so why can't they save my Mom
- Amelia : Come here. They can't help your Mom. I tried to get them too but they want us to have some time with her before she passes away
- Isabella : But she can't die
- y/n : Bells
- Isabella : No! You can't die. You promised you'd come to my parent-teacher conference next week
- y/n : I'm sorry
Andrea doesn't understand. Him and Isabella are both going to have lost a parent as a toddler and Isabella is loosing her second parent. What'll happen to the kids? They can't go into care.
- y/n : Amy
- Amelia : Y/n/n
- y/n : I love you
- Amelia : I love you too. You're my little sister. No matter how annoying you are, I'll always love you
- y/n : Andy?
- Andrea : Up
- Amelia : Be careful Roo. You've got to be really careful
- Isabella : I don't want you to go
- y/n : I don't want to go
- Andrea : Love you Mommy
How am I supposed to watch my sister die and then sit in the same room as her children without breaking down?
- Amelia : I'll be back
- Isabella : Okay
Carina was in the car with her. Where's Carina? I need to see her.
- Amelia : Where's Carina? She came in with Y/n, right?
- Owen : Amelia...
Both of them. They get in an accident and both of them somehow are now dead or dying. Carina was supposed to take the kids in the case of Y/n dying. My niece and nephew are going to be orphans.
- Amelia : What's happening?
- Arizona : It's time
- Isabella : Auntie Amy? What's happening? She's not really dying, right? Please tell me she's going to live
- Amelia : Arizona. Take the kids
- Arizona : Are you sure?
- Amelia : They don't need to see this.
- Isabella : NO. PLEASE. I WANT TO SEE HER. MOM? PLEASE.
My heart hurts. Carina died and the kids have known her for years and now their Mom is dying. Andrea doesn't know what's going on but Bells needs to be able to say goodbye.
- y/n : Amy. It's hurts
- Amelia : I know
- Isabella : I'm going to miss you
- y/n : Me too
- Isabella : Say hi to Dad for me, please?
- y/n : I will
- Isabella : I love you.You can go
She was hugging Isabella when she went. The moment her heart stopped she was holding onto Isabella. She had been holding on for that last hug.
- Isabella : Auntie Amy? What's happening?
- Amelia : That's the machines saying her heart's stopped
- Isabella : No!
My little sister is gone. I'm no longer Big Shepherd and she's no longer Little Shepherd. I'm just Shepherd.
