A lot has happened. In the past week I think I've seen like 17 different therapists. I don't feel the withdrawal as much anymore but the things I would fucking do for a shave. My legs. Man. Amelia doesn't trust me with a razor so I can't shave. She's been taking me to work with her like a child except today's different. Arizona is off so I get to stay home.
- Arizona : Wakey Wakey y/n/n. It's time for breakfast
- y/n : Mhmm
- Arizona : Come onnn. Get uppp. We have an exciting dayyy
- y/n : I don't wanna get uppp
- Arizona : Too bad. We're going to the hospital today. Some of the girls want to have lunch with us. I already picked your outfit considering it's the middle of summer
- y/n : Shorts? Really?
- Arizona : Shit I'm sorry. Are they too short? I didn't realise you have scars on your legs-
- y/n : No it's just I haven't shaved since about two weeks before I left LA. My legs are a little furry
She's laughing at what I said. I get it not everyone shaved but personally, I do and I don't want to wear shorts without shaving.
- Arizona : I'm not giving you a razor. That's one thing I won't trust you with
- y/n : Not even if you sit with me?
- Arizona : No. Amelia told me not to
- y/n : Amelia also told you not to let me make dinner but you did. Please Arizona. I just want smooth legs. Please
Who knew crying at my sisters secret girlfriend would evolve into her shaving my legs. She still wouldn't trust me with the razor but the fact my legs are smooth. I'm not the happiest about wearing shorts but at least I can wear one of Amelia's hoodies that I've stolen.
- y/n : Who is 'the girls' by the way?
- Arizona : Oh me, Amelia, Teddy, April, Carina and Richard
- y/n : The girls includes Richard?
- Arizona : Yes but I think he's got a surgery today so he won't be there. Teddy, April and Carina will be there though
- y/n : I think I've met Teddy
- Arizona : Yeah you've met Teddy and April. Not for long but yeah. Carina works in OB, she's amazing
- y/n : Oh cool.
Definitely not looking forward to this. I've got to socialise with my sister and her girlfriend's friends. April is way too bubbly for my liking and Teddy is way too work focused. Those women don't have off switches. I mean neither of them know about Amelia and Arizona so I guess that makes me better then them.
- Arizona : Hey guys. This is y/n. Amelia's sister
- April : It's great to see you again y/n. I-
- Amelia : Calm down April. She doesn't talk unless she's forced
- Teddy : Hello y/n
- Arizona : Where's Carina? She's the only one who hasn't met y/n
- April : Baby duties. One of her mothers was ready
I'm not going to lie, OB was a serious contender for me but I chose to focus on neuro like my brother and sister instead. Well I have a sister in OB too but you get me.
- April : So, y/n, boyfriend in your life?
- Amelia : Oh this is going to me priceless
- Arizona : What do you mean? Oh- OH. REALLY? Y/n/n
- April : I'm lost
- Teddy : Oh April
- Amelia : Y/n likes girls, a lot. She came out to me when she was 14
They're all looking at me. Stop fucking looking at me. Some dude I've managed to identify as Jackson walked towards us with a child.
- Jackson : April we're needed in OR 3. Hi, nice to meet you. Take Harriet
- y/n : I'm a drug addict
- Jackson : Okay? I take my kid. Don't kill her
- y/n : Amy?
- Amelia : Don't ask me
- y/n : Arizona?
- Arizona : That kid hates me. She cries at everyone. Oh look. Teddy ran off
Okay, Harriet is fairly calm. I don't get why I've been trusted with her, especially after I literally told her father that I do drugs. She's facing me, playing with my hoodie strings.
- Arizona : She likes you. She doesn't like many people
- Carina : Sorry I'm late bambina's. Oh, hello, I'm Carina Deluca.
- y/n : Y/n Shepherd
- Amelia : Jesus Carina. She never talks to anyone new, you've got to feel privileged
- Carina : I feel very privileged.What do you do for a job?
- y/n : I'm a 4th year resident. Was a 4th year resident before Amelia kidnapped me and is holding me hostage
Carina just laughs before talking to Arizona. Amelia keeps looking over at me and Harriet who has somehow fallen asleep on me. We talk for about 15 minutes until Meredith comes stomping over towards us. Here we go.
- Meredith : Give me Harriet
- Amelia : Jackson left her here with y/n
- Meredith : He voluntarily left his child with a drug addict? I don't think so. I'm taking her back to daycare
- Arizona : Calm down. Y/n announced the fact she's a drug addict before Jackson left. He doesn't care. April was here too. She's fine, we're watching her
She didn't even say anything else and just stormed off again. Honestly the things she says really effects me but I don't need to let everyone else know that. Remember, the sooner I'm 'better' the sooner I can go home. Me and Arizona headed home after dropping Harriet back at the daycare. I guess today wasn't too bad so far?
