AMELIA'S POV

It's a fucking road trip. Y/n and Carina can't leave Andrew along because he's terrified of fucking up the baby and Arizona has managed to get time off so we're all going to see Mom and Lizzie. Did I tell you we hired a fucking van? Like we're all going to be in the same vehicle for hours.

- Amelia : Have we got everything?

- y/n : Arizona have you got your leg?

- Arizona : Yes you asshole. I've got my leg considering I'm standing on it

- AJ : That's a rude word

- y/n : Yes it is, isn't

- Amelia : Okay. Kids in the car. Y/n, Andrew you too. Carina can you look after them?

Arizona is stressing out. Like a lot. She could probably do with some weed or something but we don't do drugs in this family. Not anymore

- Amelia : Hey. Calm down. You're stressing out

- Arizona : Your sister is annoying

- Amelia : And we love her in-spite of that. She's not that bad babe

- Arizona : She makes me want to send her-

- Amelia : No. We don't send y/n places. She's trying, she hasn't seen any of the family in years and so she's a little bit nervous

- Arizona : No. She's just a bitch. Everything is about her. We all work round y/n. Well I'm fucking sick of it

- Amelia : That's my sister. I'm going to do everything I can for her like how you did everything you could for me. She's struggling. She's at therapy 3 times a week. Remember when you lost your leg and suffered from depression well she's suffering in her own wa-

- Arizona : No. Don't you DARE compare this to that. This is NO WHERE near the same thing. She's fine, you coddle her too much

Me and Arizona don't really argue but this seems like it's a big argument. I've really had to be there for y/n at the minute because she's struggling a lot. She puts on a façade around the kids but I know she's hurting. I've been on the phone to her while she cries.

- Arizona : She needs to get over it like you did. Okay, you both have history with drugs but that doesn't mean she needs you 24/7. Our sex life has been affected-

- Amelia : Is this what it's about? Our fucking sex life?

- Arizona : Partially. I barely get to spend time with my fiancé because her sister is on the phone to her every night. I can't even make a move.

- Amelia : Okay listen to me-

- Arizona : I DON'T WANT TO LISTEN TO YOU

- Amelia : Great. Good to know. My own fiancé won't listen to what I have to say.You can take this. I'm taking the boys on a road trip to see my side of the family. Call if you want to speak to them

- Arizona : Ames-

- Amelia : No. Don't you dare 'Ames' me. I'm leaving before I hit traffic.

Fuck. Okay. Breathe. In and out. Fuck eyes are blurry and sweaty. AHH no. Not sweaty eyes. Shit. The boys don't need to see me cry

- Carina : Amelia get out of the front seat. I can drive

- y/n : Come on Ames, come sit with me

- Andrew : Hey boys which one of you wants to ride up front with Auntie Carina?

Eli : ME

This is all well and good except we're just sat out the front of our house and Arizona is just stood watching us from the front door. She doesn't look upset and that's what's upsetting me, that she doesn't care.

- Carina : And we're off. WooHoo

- Eli : Yay

- Andrew : You hear that Bells? We're going on a long drive.

- AJ : Mommy? Are you okay?

- Amelia : I'm fine baby

- AJ : Why were you and Mama fighting?

- Amelia : Sometimes when adults love each other a lot they struggle to phrase things properly l. Me and mama were both struggling to phrase things. We'll talk out it a bit more when we get home

- AJ : I don't like it when Mommy cries. I don't like it when anyone cries. Mommy? Why did you take your pretty ring off?

- y/n : Come here bud. You're sweet, you know that right?

She's not wrong. He's really caring. Eli is too but he'll avoids conflict, hence why he'll avoid me for a few hours. It's better him be here with other adults and ignore me then be at home with Arizona and no other adults. I guess I fell asleep because Andrew woke up me to see y/n pacing back and forth at a gas station.

YOUR POV

Okay so I'm not mad, I'm just confused. I don't really know why Arizona and Amelia had an argument but I heard my name get thrown around and Amelia won't tell me what happened. That's why I'm waiting for Arizona to pick up.

- Arizona : Yes?

- y/n : What happened? Ames won't tell me and the boys are asking questions. Specifically AJ

- Arizona : Of course she's protecting you again

- y/n : What's that supposed to mean?

- Arizona : You know what? Just tell Amelia to call me when you get to the hotel. I don't need this-

- y/n : Oh I get you. The fact I've been ready to check myself back into a place before anyone else could is affecting you too much. Sorry. Amelia's been doing everything she can to try and keep me out here. Sorry for being a burden Arizona. Fuck

- Carina : Are you okay?

- y/n : Mhm

- Andrew : Someone wants to see Auntie Y/n/n

- y/n : Pass my favourite niece here. Hello Bells. Are you being good for your dad? That's what I thought

Let's just hope this week goes to plan and that my family don't hate me. Or that Kathleen and Nancy turn up. I'll actually cry if they turn up.
