There Tk stood in the Austin Texas treatment center coffee shop in line to get a coffee before his check- up
"Sir ?" The barista called " can I get you something ?" She called again " sir ?" She called a third time getting Tk's attention " sorry can I get a iced vanilla latte please and a hot hazelnut coffee ." Tk said the barista said " name for the order ?" She asked " Tk strand." Tk said getting his wallet out " okay that will be 8.95 $ please" said as Tk got his card out " do you guys take card ?" Tk asked " card machines broken sorry ." She said " okay I'm just forget it thank you ." Tk said " wait here I got it can I also get hazelnut latte with that please ." An officer said " that's will be 15.63$ sir ." She said " okay here ." The officer smiled " you really didn't have to -" Tk said looking at the officer " don't worry about it we've all been there ." The officer said "so your names Tk ?" The officer said " how'd you ?" Tk questioned " she asked for your name ." The officer lauded " right I'm sorry -" Tk laughed " Carlos ." Carlos said smiling " order for Tk strand ?" The barista called Tk got the coffee handing Carlos his " well thank you again Carlos for the coffee if you want I can Venmo you the money back just give me a second ." Tk said setting the coffee down on the table getting out his phone " don't mention it do you have time to go for a walk around here maybe I got time to kill ." Carlos laughed " uh yeah same ." Tk said smiling shyly " so what are you doing here ?" Carlos asked " oh me I'm - I'm just here for a friend ." Tk laughed nervously
" you ?" Tk asked "I'm volunteering here for my job ." Carlos smiled " I'm assuming that other coffee is for a friend ." Carlos asked " yeah I don't like hot coffee ." Tk laughed " odd ball ." Carlos teased " I gotta go actually but thank you for the coffee and the company really ." Tk said " hey wait ." Carlos called "hmm?" Tk said turning around " give me your phone ." Carlos said Carlos gave Tk back his phone after a minute " message me sometime maybe we can um - get together you know if your free - or whatever." Carlos smiled at tk "yeah maybe ." Tk smiled " thanks for the coffee stranger ." Tk smiled
