I lay in bed thinking about ways on how I can get closer to Seungcheol.
Maybe I should join the student body group I think to myself.
"That's it!" I say to myself "I'll join it so we can spend more time together." I say excitedly but it quickly fades "wait what about if Seungcheol finds it weird."
-Next Day At School-
I'm waiting in the school court yard for Ari to arrive so we can go to lunch together.
I read at a table as I wait for her.
"You're reading Cold Moon Love, that's one of my favorites." I hear a voice say to me
I look up and see the person of who the voice belonged to.
To which I see Seungcheol smiling. Seungcheol takes a seat across from me.
"Oh yeah, this book is one of my favorites." I smile as I put the book down.
We talk about the book some more before Seungcheol asks me a question off topic.
"Do you maybe wanna go to the dance with me? I know you don't like dances but-" Seungcheol rambles on
"Yeah, I'd love to." I smile brightly
"Really?" Seungcheol says surprised to my answer
"Yeah" I laugh
-Night of The Dance-
As I'm putting on my brand new heels I hear my mom call out to me from down stairs.
"Y/n, Seungcheol is here." My mom calls out
"Coming." I reply before taking a final look in the mirror
I then walk downstairs and see Seungcheol waiting with my parents.
"You look beautiful." My dad says as I walk down the stairs
"Can I agree to that?" Seungcheol asks my dad which causes all of us to laugh
"Of course." My mom answers
After talking for a few minutes with my parents we take our leave.
We arrive to the venue and head in side.
We walk hand in hand.
"Woah this looks amazing." I say as we walk in
Balloons and streamers hang all around but it fits the masquerade theme.
"Thanks to you." Seungcheol says with a smile
"Well you planned and organized it." I say as we walk over to a table with masquerade masks.
"Here this matches your dress." Seungcheol says as reaches down and places a dark blue mask on me
"Thanks." I laugh then pick up another dark blue mask "here's yours." I say as I place it on him
"You look beautiful." Seungcheol says as I place the mask on him
I put it on him and take my hands back.
"You're cheesy but I like it." To which Seungcheol just laughs
"Who do you think will be queen and king?" I ask as we walk to a table full of food
"I have my bets on Jeonghan and Ari." Seungcheol says as he points over to the right where Ari and Jeonghan are dancing.
"Really? Me too! They look so cute together." I exclaim
"Who do you think will be a runner up?" Seungcheol asks as he pours him self a drink
"Probably Joshua and Lexie." I reply
After eating snacks and talking the announcements for queen and king are announced.
Since Seungcheol is the SBP he is on stage making the announcement.
"For prom king, please give around of applause for..." He waits a brief second before continuing "Choi Seungcheol." He says with a surprised face and tone
Everyone erupts in applauds and cheers.
Me and Ari cheer together and wait for the queen announcement.
Another SB member places the crown on Seungcheol before he continues.
"And now for the prom queen, please give..." Seungcheol pauses but continues "Y/l/n Y/n a around of applause."
To which again everyone claps and cheers.
I stand there in disbelief because never in a million years would I think I would be prom queen let alone even be runner.
"Go go." Ari says as he lightly pushes me to start walking
I walk up to the stage as a SB member places the crown on me before I continue any further.
I continue my way to stand next to Seungcheol.
Once I arrive Seungcheol grabs a hold of my hand.
"Everyone please congratulate this years 2021 prom queen and king." Seungcheol says into the mic which everyone cheers and claps
We then walk off stage and dance to a slow song. And as we dance a bright light is placed on us.
"I've never would imagined this." I say as I lay my head on Seungcheol chest.
"Me either, but I'm glad I'm experiencing this with you." Seungcheol says as he swings us back and forth
"Me too." I reply as I close my eyes "I wouldn't want this with anyone else."
