Virat was sitting in his room bored out of his mind. He was watching MIvsCSK match.
But to his disappointment Rohit got out. What was going on with them ? He thought thinking about himself too.
He was gonna turn off the TV but one incident made him watch more closely.
'VK u gonna go inside the TV now' asked Faf entering his room.
Virat shrugged at that. And watched as if he could zoom it more.
'What are u watching anyways This closely VK ?' Asked Faf.
'Can't u see?' Asked Virat exasperated.
'What are u trying to find there?' Asked Faf confused at his antics.
'Let it b u will not understand' said Virat.
'Ohh do u need me for something?' Asked Virat for the first time turning his attention away from The Match.
'Ohh ya there is meeting with coaches so if u would join us?' Asked Faf
'Ya sure let's go' said Virat.
Virat was in the meeting but could not shake his thoughts about what he saw. He was so irritated with that.
He came after two hours from the meeting. He just dropped a message not caring whether it is going to be seen or not.
'I am not talking to you'
He saw the match and was really happy to see Mahi bhai finish it but equally sad to see his best friend upset.
After 2 hours he still didn't get any sleep. He was just tossed and turned in his bed.
Mahi reached the hotel and for a change he opened his phone and saw a text which immediately got a smile on his face.
He called the person right way.
'Hi Cheeku' said Mahi softly.
'I am not going to talk to you' whined Virat sitting on the bed.
'Okay but u picked my phone so u are talking to me right' said Mahi logically.
'Bhai stop finding logic In everything' said Virat irritated and Mahi chuckled at that.
'I am really upset with you' whined Virat again.
'Okay Cheeku but at least tell me what did I do?' said Mahi.
'What were u saying in that bowler's ear ? What was so secret between u two?' Asks Virat annoyingly
Mahi just laughs at his question.
'U are laughing ! Unbelievable bhai !' Said Virat.
Mahi was still laughing.
'Ruko Abhi mai Rohit ko bhi bolta hu ... uska hi call hai' said Virat merging Rohit who was calling Virat.
And Virat also knew that this will help to Rohit's mood to be better.
'Hey Vi what's up ? Kis se baat kar raha hai' said Rohit trying to sound normal hiding his worry but he wanted to hear his bestie. As he knew listening to his stupid talks his mood will get better.
'Ruk Ro bhai hai line pe merge kar raha hu' said Virat merging the call.
'Bhai why are u laughing' said Rohit the first thing as he heard him.
'Ro unko kya puch raha hai .. mai bata ta hu what he did' said Virat narrating him how he was hugging that new bowler and saying something in his ear.
'Ha bhai I also noticed this ! U didn't even meet me and went straight to the new kiddos!'
Rohit also added voicing out his jealousy.
'Pata hai Vi .. itna importance dete hai bhai wo new kiddos ko .. Hume toh Bhul hi Gaye hai'
Rohit added more to their complain list.
'Ha na Ro bhai is changed'
Said Virat complaining.
'Will u both stop speaking like I am not listening'
Mahi said to his stupid kiddos
'Nahi hum toh Isiliye bol rahe hai so that u should listen to this'
Said Virat.
'And fyi I am not at all changed'
Said Mahi
'Rehne do bhai we saw that'
Said Rohit complaining again
'Cheeku , Ro whoever comes in the team it's my duty to make them comfortable'
Said Mahi making them understand
'Kya comfortable!! Kuch bhi kuch jyada hi comfortable ho rahe ho bhai aap'
Said Virat whining
'Correctly said Vi'
Said Rohit supporting him.
'Waise toh u both fight so much and now u two have joined forces'
Said Mahi chuckling at their childishness
'Bhai we are angry with you'
Said Both of them together
'Acha baba .. sorry okay ! U both should know that whoever new kid comes u both will always be more special to me'
Said Mahi softly..
'Okay abhi thoda convincing lag raha hai'
Said Rohit
'U going good .. continue'
Said Virat
'I promise I will not ignore u infront of other kids .. and I will take u both to dinner soon only three of us'
Said Mahi convincing them
'Pakka sirf hum teeno'
Asked Virat
'Ha sirf hum teeno .. pehle ki tarah'
Said Mahi
'Ro .. Kaha Gaya ..'
said Virat not sensing any response from him
'How perfect everything was jab bhai u were there with us'
Said Rohit in a low voice
'Abhi bhi sab waise hi hai Ro but Just u and Cheeku have grown up to ur responsibilities more'
Said Mahi knowing what he is feeling
'But bhai we don't want to grow up .. sab pehle jaise kar do bhai'
Said Virat this time.
'But u are the run machine and hitman of the country .. everyone loves u so much ..'
said Mahi Being proud of him
'Kya run machine bhai .. 2 ducks continuously.. I have disappointed everyone'
Said Virat sadly
'Hitman ka toh Bolo hi mat bhai .. runs bhi nahi hai and no proper captaincy.. 7 losses bhai ..' said Rohit sadly
'Ro but it's just a phase u are doing everything u can .. and Cheeku everyone goes through this ... I know and I trust u both to overcome this'
Said Mahi making him understand
'Bhai but everything is changed .. Abhi we can't come to u and lay our head in your lap after the loss or bad performance'
Said Virat sadly
'Ha aur upar se u gave so much importance to other kids'
Said Rohit again
'Cheeku , Ro I am always with u .. physically nahi hua toh kya hua .. I trust u both to bounce back and show the world what is the importance of the RohiRat in Indian Cricket'
Said Mahi assuring them
'Sach mai ?'
Asked Virat
'Don't u trust me ?'
Asked Mahi
'Ofcourse bhai with our life'
Said Rohit
'Then trust me when I say this u will be okay and this is just a phase u have to overcome just as u both have done many times'
Said Mahi
'We love u and miss u bhai'
Said both of them together
'I love u too and I trust u'
