8 MONTHS LATER.

FATIMA'S POV.

The blinding rays of sunlight shone on my eyes as I got out of the house to enter my car, I squinted my eyes to reduce the intensity of light entering it,

“ya Allah protect me from hell and grant me jannah”I said when I saw how hot it was outside,
If only sun rays can be as hot as this how will jahannam (hell) be?.

I got into my car and drove towards the hospital,
I feel very lonely and empty right now but
“Allah is enough for me” I muttered.

I got into the hospital with its unique scent which I'm not fond of  greeting me, I really feel suffocated whenever I’m here, that’s why I respect anyone in the medical profession.

I joined the queue of patients waiting in line to be attended by the doctor, I greeted all of them respectfully. Everyone seated here deserves to be respected, it actually isn’t easy at all, I can testify to that,

I sighed as I looked at the long queue in front of me.

I was silently saying my dhikr when a nurse approached me,

After briefly greeting each other,

“starting from you, you’re going to see a different doctor, so the queue will move faster” she said,
I looked at her confused but I still followed her instruction, I was the last person on the queue right now but she was still telling me to see another doctor first before the rest,

“okay then” I said,

“Go to room A3, that’s where the doctor is” she said as she left,

I followed her directives and proceeded to room A3,
I knocked on the door waiting for the person on the other end to respond,

“come in” I heard a thick voice said,

“why is this giving me déjà vu?” I thought to myself as I opened the door,

When I entered, the doctor was facing his back towards me so I couldn’t see his face, but he emits a very familiar aura.

“salam alaykum” I said so that he’ll at least face me, for all I know he can’t attend to me backing me.

He turned his chair slowly to face me,

“walaykum salam” the person replied smiling widely showing his full set of white teeth.
I don’t know what happened next, all I know is,

“Aman!” I screamed hardly as I went to fling my hands around his neck tightly,

“easy there baby girl, don’t hurt my other baby there” he said chuckling as he placed his hands on my bulged stomach,

I smacked him on his shoulder slightly,

“why didn’t you tell me you’ll be back today” I said,

“ouch that hurts” he said rubbing his shoulder soothingly,

“Answer” I said violently,

“woah my baby is fierce now uhnn” he said laughing.

When he saw how hard I continuously glared at him,

“okay okay, calm down” he said with his mesmerising smile still lingering on his face,

“If I had told I won’t have gotten this reaction from you” he said trying to get me to reason with him,

“but still” I said pouting,
