patiently waiting for you (Completed)✔️

9~ Alhamdulillah.

I waited for about 30 minutes outside the room, when I saw the doctor was coming out, I moved forward anticipating what he'll say,

"The patient blood pressure got low, but we have been able to bring it back to a stable state, the patient is also showing signs of waking up anytime soon" the doctor said,

"Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah, thank you doctor" I said happily, I couldn't control the joy inside me, but I composed myself since the doctor hasn't left yet, he smiled then walked away and I just bowed in response.

I gently entered the room, I went to sit near aman taking in all his features, something I do very frequently now, then I prayed for him.
I picked up my phone to inform my two very supportive family of the good news, they were very happy, they would have come now but it was already too late, so they promised to come the next morning. Having said all my salah, I offered nafila then proceeded to sleep.

The next morning, after saying my fajr salah, I pushed my bed closer to Aman's and sat, so I can recite my morning remembrance closer to his ears,

"Aman stay with me please" I said as I held his hand tightly,

when I finished, my eyes started getting heavy, maybe due to the fact I was very stressed out, so I placed my head on aman's chest and slept off.

"what's moving on my head" I thought to myself,

"Uhnnn, uhnn, uhnn" I murmured to myself,

"stop it" I said sleepily,

I was still sleep talking when I heard someone groaning, that jolted me out of my sleep, I stood up quickly almost losing my balance, I still haven't deciphered what was happening, so I cleaned my eyes with my hands to clear the sleep out, that was when I saw aman groaning and stretching like he was in pain, I cleaned my eyes again to be sure of what I was seeing,

"Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah" I screamed in happiness, I quickly did sujudul shukr, I stood up to take a glance at him when I heard him groan again, I didn't even wait a second before going to get the doctor.

The doctor examined him, said he was fine and only needed some rest.
I've informed both my parents and his and they were already on their way, they were all very excited, I had too keep my phone some inch from my ear when I told mum, so I won't lose my ear buds.

I was staring at him with my eyes wide open as he was sleeping, I saw him slightly flutter his eyes open, I scooted closer to him when I saw he was trying to say something.

"where am I?" he said,

"uhmm hospital" I replied,

"why are you here?" he said trying to avert his gaze from me,

"I'm here because I have to" I replied quietly pretending as if that question didn't pierce directly into my heart,

He was about to ask another question, when the door flung open, yusra took long stride as she went over to hug him tightly, he was still groaning but he managed to hug her back as well,

"I've missed you soooooooooo much" she said prolonging the "so",

I couldn't help but wish aman also hugged me like that but what was I thinking we barely knew each other though we are married.

"salam alaykum sister Fatima sorry, I've just missed him too much sorry I didn't greet earlier" yusra said as she turned to me where I was standing,

"walaykum salam yusra, that's not a problem at all, you aren't suppose to be apologizing" I said to her sincerely as I hit her playfully, I understood her plight, if I were in her shoes I'd have done same or worst.
