Rival Pt.3

"This is basically all of my favorite food." I smile

Seungkwan turns his attention to me "Well I'm glad you like them."

-Over time-
I let down my guard and got comfortable with Seungkwan.

We sat there for two hours.

Talking about life, goals, travel, school and more.

"Awe man the sun is setting." I say as I watch the sun slowly going down

"Why do you sound upset?" Seungkwan asks

I stay quiet for a second but continue "Because I don't want to leave just yet."

"We don't have to, we can leave whenever you want." Seungkwan says as he watches me

I turn my attention back to him then carry on another conversation.

-8:12pm-

We're laying down on the blanket talking about something that brings up relationships.

"Have you ever been in a relationship?" Seungkwan asks as he looks up at the stars

As he said those words, my ex boyfriend Vernon popped into my head.

"Yeah..." I drag

"Really? What was their name?" Seungkwan asks

"Vernon...Chwe Hansol." I reply

"That's an interesting name." Seungkwan laughs

"Yeah" I laugh along

"I met him in 8th grade then we started dating in 9th grade then..." I trail off

Seungkwan then turned his attention to me "Then?"

I continued to look up at the stars
"He broke up with me over text...whenever we were in 11th grade." I sigh at the memory

"Oh I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-" Seungkwan quickly says

"Don't worry about it." I slightly laugh to make it better

"He broke up with me because he was moving back to America. He was already at the airport whenever he texted me." I add

"Wow what a douche." Seungkwan scoffs

"Yeah...I cried for 2 weeks straight." I laugh at the stupid memory

"Are you over him now?" Seungkwan quietly asks

I stay quiet and think for a few seconds.
"I don't think I'll ever get over him. He was my first love and my first heart break." I say honestly

Seungkwan stays quiet for a second before saying "I hope that never happens again then."

"I hope so too, so what about you?" I ask

"I've had two girlfriends. One of them was named Jungeun and the other one was named Dahyun." Seungkwan slightly smiles

"Why did y'all break up?" I question

"Me and Jungeun were too young at the time and for me and Dahyun...she needed to focus on college." Seungkwan replies

"So was Jungeun your first love?"

Seungmin shakes his head slightly "no, Dahyun was. The break up with her hurt more and plus she was my best friend."

"Falling in love with your best friend sucks..." I breath out

"No kidding." Seungkwan adds

-Late night drive-
We drove around town for an hour before going home.

There we told each other more stories and got closer.

-3 months later-
Me and Seungkwan talk every day and here and there we hang out.

We're too busy with school and work to hang out often.

Plus my family doesn't know that I'm hanging out with the company's rival representative and I don't want them to know.

-At a cafe-
I sit there waiting for Seungkwan to arrive at the cafe.

As I wait I sip on my coffee and look out the window.

"Y/n?" A familiar voice calls out to me

I turn to the voice and my heart drops whenever I see the person.

It's a person I recognize too easily even though I haven't seen them in years.

"Vernon?" My voice shakes
