I continued giving him cooked lunch. Iba-ibang dish lagi ang niluluto ko. I should be lucky we have professional cooks. They're helping me to get through this shithole. Inuutos ko na lamang and pagpapadala dahil parang 'di ko siya kayang harapin.

Masaya naman ako sa ginagawa ko. Hindi lang ako masaya sa overthinking ko.

Paano kung wala ring patutunguhan 'tong efforts ko? Sa huli... wala na talaga? What if I already lost him? And he already found someone new, and that someone is his freaking childhood friend?

Childhood friend n'ya rin naman ako. Childhood sweetheart pa nga, e. Kung ikukumpara, dapat may mas laban ako... pero dahil sa nangyari noong nakaraan... nababawasan ang kompyansa ko.

"Yes. Sa office n'ya mismo..." sabi ko sa gwardya ng building nila. Nasa harap ako ng kompanya nina Azriel.

I am wearing corporate attire now since I'll be joining my grandfather's meeting with the executives. He invited me to join him, and since I am dying of boredom, I said yes.

"Hmm," nag-isip ako at natawa. "Ex fiancée na lang ang sabihin mo," sabi ko bago umalis ng may ngisi sa mga labi.

Pagdating ko sa M Tower, nairita ako sa dami ng bumabati. There's no problem with acknowledging the major owner of this tower now, but do they have to do it over and over again? I am close to hearing ducks quacking in unison.

Pagpasok ko sa opisina, naroon agad si Zandro kasama si Zoren, Mooze, at Tiago. They were just talking casually when I entered. I rolled my eyes out of habit.

"How's your fiance?" tanong agad ni Mooze. Napansin ko na loose ang kaniyang necktie. Wala siyang suot na blazer habang nakaupo sa couch, sa harap ng lamesa ni Lolo.

Naupo ako sa tabi ni Zoren habang nakataas ang kilay kay Mooze.

"Mind your own ex-girlfriend, Diego," I rebut.

Tiago laughed louder than Zoren. Seryoso lang naman si Lolo habang pinapanood kami.

"I am minding her seriously. I hope you're doing the same."

I chuckled with sarcasm.

"As much as you do," I smiled more sarcastically.

He crossed his hand and flicked a brow at me. I did the same.

Ilang minuto pa ay pumasok na kami sa meeting hall. I was busy checking my phone so I didn't recognize everyone in the room quickly. When I raised my chin, I was dumbfounded to see... Azriel with his serious and dark eyes. He stood up to greet my grandfather respectfully.

Nag-iwas ako ng tingin. Great timing because someone approached me! I believe he is Azriel's friend. Paris.

"It's a pleasure to see you here, madam," he said in such a flirty manner.

We shook hands.

I nodded and gave him a small stretch of a smile. I continued to entertain everyone greeting me. People will always flock to those who are in power. They probably know I own this building now.

The meeting started. I do not want to assume but I could feel his eyes staring at me. Nakasandal siya sa kan'ya upuan habang nilalaro ang kaniyang labi. It's easy to say because Mooze wanted him to sit in front of me, and he fucking did!
