Bad Girl

Inside the car, I look at my face with the use of my latest iPhone. Binili ni Zoren kagabi dahil nagka-sigawan kaming dalawa. It's to lure me. He wanted me to stay in the mansion, but I fought for my comfort. In the end, my wish is their command.

I couldn't even sleep peacefully in that house. All I could remember in that place is Sean.

I put a little fragment of eyeliner. Just enough for me to look more mature and mean. Hindi nga yata halata dahil nakuha ko ang makakapal na pilikmata ni Zoren.

I stroked my wavy hair ending right after my waist, so close to my ass. It's dark, but when hit by sun rays, it turns dark brown. I got it from my Mom. At... pareho kami ni Sean na ganito ang buhok.

I love our uniform. Black checkered skirt inches before the knee, long sleeve polo topped with black blazers. I was hesitating if I should wear this black necktie, but in the end, I wore it. Mas gusto ko kasi ng ribbon tie. I wanted to be unique, so why not? I paired my uniform with lace-up high black boots. Hindi naman sinabi na bawal. But if they forbid it, I won't still give a damn.

It's still early but there were already students coming inside. Rich kids, I can say. Their cars are nice. But of course, mine is the nicest.

I huffed when three black SUVs parked beside my car. I have a driver since I didn't let my Mom come with me here. Gusto kong mag-isang papasok, pero 'di yata matutupad 'yon.

Nauna akong bumaba. Hinawi ko ang buhok ko. Some students' head turned my way. Inirapan ko silang lahat.

Isa-isang bumaba ang matatandang triplets. Lolo Zandro, Zario, and Zakaryo. Sumandal ako sa saradong pintuan ng service ko. Lolo Zandro's eyebrows twitched upon seeing his brothers. It's like they didn't expect to see each other here.

Bakit ba sila nandito?

"If this is your way of welcoming me back... Well, impressive," I chuckled mockingly at them.

Lolo Zandro was so serious. Si Lolo Zakaryo ay ngumisi lang. Natatawa naman si Lolo Zario. I shrugged with a smile. They're all looking at me like they missed me so bad. I rolled my eyes to hide my shaken heart.

My grandfathers. My first generation trio.

They have their own sets of guards, kaya naman habang naglalakad kami papunta sa building kung saan naroon ang opisina, pinagtitinginan kami. They're so intrigued about me.

New kid, I know. More like, a new nightmare!

Inirapan ko silang lahat. Kahit lahat ng ngumingiti sa akin. I don't do friends, duh? Mga social climbers!

"How's LA?" tanong ni Lolo Zario.

Parang gusto nilang magsalitang lahat, pero dahil magkakasama ay pinipigilan ang mga sarili. I am presuming it's still awkward between them three. Akala ko ba naka-move on na sila? Truly indeed, mahirap makalimot.

"Nothing changed. Hmmm. How's Lola?" I asked back and he glared at me jokingly.

Masama ang tingin ni Lolo Zandro kay Lolo Zario kaya napangisi ako. I wanted to laugh but I don't want to show the kids that I laugh. I don't want them to think I'm sort of a happy kid. Baka maging dahilan pa ng pagiging feeling close nila.

I don't need friends...

With them around me, I feel like a powerful grandchild. These three old men are known for being the best in the field of business. They're billionaires to be specific. And I am one of the beneficiaries of their mountains of wealth.
