Marinette sighed as once again her husband was absent. Their daughter was 3 years old now but why didn't he love her anymore.
With a sigh, Marinette then got ready for work. "Hey pumpkin how are you" her husband greeted Emma. "I'm great daddy." Emma smiled. With Emma in school now. Adrian has gone out to work temporarily.
"How did your meeting go," Marinette asked. "It was okay" he responded pulling out his phone. "Okay do you want to spend the day together maybe," she asked.
"Yeah sure." He smiled. "Really." She beamed. "Yup Your birthday is around the corner and we should go shopping together just the three of us then the two of us" He smiled.
"Really. Thank you. I'm going to get Emma ready" she kissed his cheek before running up the stairs.

"Why are you dressed like this. You look too grown-up" Adrian said crossing his arms. "She actually choose that for herself don't worry it's a one-time thing" her mother snickered.
"Alrighty, then let's get going" Adrian smiled taking the bag from his wife. Marinette smiled at his change of heart before taking Emma's hand and leading her outside.
About a half-hour later...
"Are we there yet" Emma whined from the back seat. "No, not yet sweetheart." Her father answered he chuckled at her pout and his wife stirred up from her sleep.
"Why are we at an airport I thought you said we were going shopping" Marinette spoke up. ''Well, I figured that since Mommy is a big-time fashion designer and she is very busy I thought we should have a getaway place or a vacation home so I'm going to take you two there right now'' Adrien smiled.
''What. Really'' Marinette squealed. ''Yip. You deserve it'' he returned as Emma let out a high-pitched scream.

''WOW,'' The girls gasped as he opened the door for them. ''Does that mean you like it'' Adrien asked as Emma leaped unto the sofa. ''Yas I love it'' Emma muffled out as she buried her face in the cushions. ''I love it too. Thank you babe'' Mari smiled.
''Can I go upstairs'' Emma beamed up. ''Of course, you can Princess go explore okay'' Her father replied with a grin as he wrapped his arms around his mother. ''Wanna go cuddle please. pretty please'' Marinette begged. ''Er... Fine okay'' Se tugged at his arm pulling him upstairs to their bedroom.
''I missed our cuddles'' she whispered interlocking their fingers. ''Well you have been busy'' He responded. ''So it's my fault-'' ''No. Hey. I'm not blaming anyone I'm just pointing out something'' He chuckled and she glared at him. ''You are a jerk'' she pouted. ''Aww, whatever'' He shot back.
Sometime later...
''Hey,'' Adrien whispered over the phone. ''Oh yeah, I can talk now. hang on'' He removed his hand's hand from his chest and threw on a coat. ''Adrien-'' Marinette sighed as he closed the door after him...
