Hearts coalesce forgetting they'll one day depart.

Stuck in the beauty of impermanence, our memories create beautiful art.

They glitter and shine as I press play in my mind.

But when I open my eyes, emptiness is all I find.

So take me away, oh whimsical night sky.

Take me to the place where our souls go to play.

I don't want to feel anymore but the feelings won't go away.

I resign my heart to never love again but it won't do as I say.

So please don't go, are the thoughts I thought today.

As I secretly wished you'd talk to me, as I secretly wished I could stay.

Stay here forever.

Our once strong bonds scatter like petals in the wind.

Perhaps in paradise I will get to know you for an eternity.
