The next incomimg chapters are focused om Hajime's journey, i know you all want to see Rimuru but this is needed. But don't worry Rimuru's progression is comimg soon. Hoped you understand :)

(Huh? Why?, Why Is that fireball heading my way?) Hajime thought

Hajime placed his arms infront of him to protect himself from the incoming fire ball

But the moment he was hit by the fireball he got knocked off the bridge

As he falls into the abyss, he puts his hands out to try and grasp the dimming light

He fell unconsious when we fell to the ground

Zaa-the sound of running water. A cool breeze brushed against his cheeks and caused him to tremble. There was a solid sensation in contact with his face and a chill pierced his lower half of his body. Hajime raised a grown as he tries to stand up

His whole body was throbing in pain, probably from the fall

(Ow, what happend?) Hajime thought, as he place one of his hand on his head to hold it

His surrounding wasn't totally dark, thanks to the emission from the green light stones, it was not like he was blinded by the darkness

Infront of hajime was a river 5m in width, his lower body was submerged into this river while hajime’s upper body seems to have been caught and stranded by protruding rocks located at the side of the river

(Ah that's right, i fell from the bridge)

He started to remembee as the gears in his head started turning again. Hajime has survived the fall by sheer luck it was an unbelievable miracle. When he was flying out of the tunnel Hajime hit his head and lost consciousness. Personally, Hajime did not know how such a miracle took place

"I was saved...... achoo, it's cold" he mutters

His body was submerged in the cold underground water. His body was completely cold and at this rate getting hypothermia was a real possibility

Hajime quickly picked himself up. Trembling and shivering he took off his clothes and wringed them

Using his transmutation he created a single sheet of paper from the rocks

On the hard stone floor he started to engrave a transmutation circle

The spell he was trying to use was spark magic it was simple, so simple that even kids can do it

After 10 minutes he was able to finished the magic formation and started his chanting to activate it

"I seek fire,The power of light, Manifest, "Spark"

(Why is there such an embaressing chant for this spell?! Hahaha)

He sat next to the fire and placed his clothes near the fire to dry it

"It looks like the current of the river brought me here"

"I got hella lucky, but can i return?"

The fire warming him up managed to calm him down, but soon anxiety filled him, he wanted to cry but he slapped himself and filled himself with determination instead

"Welp, i got no other choice, im gonna find my own way out of here"

Hajime’s face developed into a determined one after he muttered encouragements to himself, all while staring at the flames

After 20 minutes his cloths was completely dried off and he was ready to set off, he wasn't sure where he was but he was sure he was still in the dungeon
