Manan ~ All I Need is You

Chapter 21

Nandini with baby steps went towards Ishra and Ranyo and said timidly,

N(with tears)- I am sorry. Mujhe maaf kardo.

Ishita ignored her and went and sat on the sofa while Raman said angrily,

Ram- Kya karu tumhare sorry ka? Jo karna tha wo toh kar liya na.

And he also went to Ishita. She hopefully looked toward Ranyo and they also said,

Ranyo- Aaj tumne thik nahi kiya Doll/Sweetheart.(and went to Ishra)

She looked towards their friends and they also ignored her and went away except Arya and Sanjana. And that was it for her she ran to her room crying and closed the door with a bang (as she didn't wanted to cry in front of everyone).

Manik said to himself which was heard by everyone,

M- Shit shit shit. Yeh nahi hona chahiye tha.

He was going towards her room when he heard Raman's quavering voice.

Ram- Kya hua Manu aur kya nahi hona chahiye tha?

M(hurriedly)- Papa main aapko sab baad mein batata hu but now I have to go. I can't let her be alone.

Everyone got worried hearing him while he ran towards her room. He knocked on her door and said,

M- Choco darwaza khol. Please darwaza khol.

By then everyone had gathered outside her room. They can clearly hear her cries. Manik banged the door but she didn't respond. He got angry and shouted on everyone.

M- Kya zaroorat thi usey itna suna ne ki. Woh akeli nahi thi, main bhi tha uske sath. Galti hum dono ki thi. Actually galti uski thi hi nahi plan mera tha but phir bhi aap logo ne usey kitna kuch suna diya. Agar aaj usey kuch huya na toh I will never forgive you.

Everyone got scared hearing him as it was a very rare sight. They had never seen Manik this angry. But it wasn't his fault too, his Choco was crying and he was helpless. He can't even hug her or console her and that was killing him from inside. And in all that he vent out his frustration on his family members.

Manik again banged the door and literally pleaded her to open the door. But they didn't get any response and also didn't heard her cries. A fear took place in everyone's mind. Without a second thought, Manik broke the door. He went inside and saw her lying unconsciously on the bed. Her face was stained with dry tears. It broke Manik's heart in pieces. He went towards her sat on the bed and took her in his arms. Ishita came forward but Manik showed his hand and said sternly,

M- No, Mamma don't. Don't touch her.

They all were dying in guilt but the most were Ranyo, Ishra and Mukbir.
Manik sprinkled some water on her face but she didn't open her eyes. He took his phone to call the doctor when he heard Sanjana,

Sa- I have already called the doctor.

He nodded and started caressing her forehead and face. Tears were rolling down his eyes. After almost 30 minutes the doctor arrived. She asked them to wait outside. All left the room.

Outside her room

Ishita looked at Manik with pleading eyes and asked,

Ishi- Manu please hume bol usey kya hua. Usne esa kyu behave kiya?

By then Manik had calmed down. He realised what all he had said to them. And guiltily looked at them and said,

M- I am sorry. Wo mera dimaag thik nahi tha.

Ram(impatiently)- You don't need to apologise. We are sorry. But please jaldi bol usey kya hua.

Then Manik discussed everything with them that happened the previous night and that day's morning. And also said that he took her to water park just to clear her mind. Their guilt crossed every limits. Just then the doctor came out. Manik went towards her and impatiently asked,

M- Doctor aunty(she was their family doctor's wife) kya hua. Choco thik toh hai na. Usey kuch hua toh nahi na.

Doctor smiled seeing his care and gently patted his head and said,

Dr- Shaant beta, usey kuch nahi hua woh because of stress and excessive crying she fainted. Maine usey injection de diya hai, kuch der baad hosh mein aa jayegi.

Manik nodded and went inside while others talked to the doctor about Nandini's condition. The doctor bade bye to them after giving some instructions. They all entered and saw Manik sitting next to Nandini, caressing her head.
