You and Spencer had been together for almost a year. With both of you working at the BAU you tried to keep it a secret. You knew there wasn't a rule that says you can't date your coworkers but there is so much paperwork you would have to do. You would also have to have a meeting with Strauss and no one wanted that.

The team was now on a case in Florida. It was super hot and their AC didn't work well. All the girls on the team were coming in wearing tank tops. We all still had to wear pants. All the men came in with short sleeve shirts on, even Spencer. He looked absolutely adorable. You normally only saw him in short sleeves when you all were at home. Now you got to see him at work without so many layers too.

You were staring in his direction. He was wearing a lilac purple shirt, pushing his glasses up his perfectly shaped nose. He was reading through some books that could hopefully help with the case, his hand traveling down the side of the books to keep track of where he was at.

You were drawn out of your staring when you saw JJ approaching him. She could have just been asking questions about the case. You couldn't assume anything about why she was approaching him and you couldn't hear their conversation. You shifted in your seat and you saw her lay her hand on his arm. You knew that it could have meant nothing, but you still got nervous.

You walked closer to them, making sure that it didn't seem suspicious. You stood behind them, making it look like you were getting coffee at the station that just so happened to be behind them.

"Wow, Spencer, you have more muscles than I thought." JJ said with a giggle.

You looked towards them to see Spencer shift in his seat uncomfortably. He cleared his throat, looking down at what he was working on.

"Do you have something to ask me?" He asked JJ.

"No, I was just coming to check up on you." She answered.

You knew Spencer loved you but you couldn't help feeling jealous. JJ was beautiful and you knew she looked better than you. You know you're not the ugliest person out there but there were definitely women who were prettier than you.

"Oh, I'm doing just fine." Spencer said.

"That's good. When you're done do you want to go get coffee? The coffee here is horrible." She asked.

"Um, no thanks." Spencer answered.

You smiled slightly. You knew he was dying to have coffee that tasted better. You would have to go get it for him since he declined JJs offer. JJ frowned sofly, but nodded.

"Well, tell me if you change your mind." She said.

Spencer nodded, sending her his famous frog smile. She stood up, messing his hair up. Once she walked away you sat down next to him. He was trying to fix his hair. You smiled slightly and helped him fix his hair.

"There." You whispered.

"Thanks." Spencer smiled.

"You're pretty." You said.

It was low enough for just him to hear. He blushed and looked down, trying to hide his sheepish smile. You felt a smile creeping up on her face just because you made him smile.

"Thank you. You are pretty too." Spencer whispered.

"So I have heard." You said.

He let out a small laugh. You smiled at him, getting back on track with the case.

Third Person POV:

JJ stood and watched as you sat next to Spencer as soon as she left. She watched as you helped fix his hair as he stared at you with a love sick look. She watched as you said something that made him blush and look away. She wanted to know what she was doing wrong. Why she couldn't get Spencer's attention. You did it so easy, what's wrong with her?
