An: Get ready for a lot of updates. I have lots of my old stories ready to be published. I'm not changing any of them so please keep in mind that these were written over 2 years ago. Once I get all my old ones published I'm going to be writing new stories.

The day you were kidnapped was like any normal day. You were working a case with the team and went out to check a dump sight. While there someone approached you, and offered to help. You started talking and the next thing you know, he knocked you out. You woke up in a basement, stripped down to your panties and bra. You were there for days. The torture you went through was horrible. It was almost unbearable. You were physical abused day after day, hoping the team would come and save you.

They found you. After three days. Spencer was the one to get to you first. He was the one to carry you out to the ambulance and sit by you in the hospital. You guess that's why you chose him. After your kidnapping you hated being touched, but he was allowed to touch you. You were scared to leave his side, afraid that you would be taken again. You don't even think you're capable of this job anymore. You just work and hope you can do it.

When you saw your old best friend on a case, they didn't think twice before they were pulling you into a hug. Your arms hung limp next to your body and your breathing started to get shallow. Spencer's back was turned to you, talking to Hotch. Hotch saw your friend hug you, instantly getting Spencer's attention. Spencer turned around to see your friend embracing you in a hug.

"No, don't touch her." He warned.

He knew he was too late. Your friend already had their arms wrapped around you. As soon as they heard Spencer they let you go. Spencer and your friend noticed your glossy eyes and heavy breathing. Spencer reached his arms out, not exactly touching you just in case. He wanted you to make the first move for his touch so he doesn't set you off more. You walked into his embrace, breathing in his scent to hopefully calm you down. He ran his hand through your hair, hoping that would help.

"It's ok. You're safe. I'm here." Spencer whispered.

You cried silently into his embrace, holding him tightly. You don't understand why you're like this. You're scared of other people's touch. Afraid they're going to hurt you, but you trust Spencer.

"Why am I like this?" You asked.

"You're scared that anyone will hurt you. You only let me touch you because I saved you. You connect me to freedom. I'm the person that saved you from the most traumatic experience of your life and that's why instead of being scared of my touch it comforts you." Spencer explained.

You nodded and sniffled. You just hope this will get better. You pulled away to see the person who used to be your best friend standing there very confused.

"Sorry, I just don't like anyone touching me. I only let Spencer touch me." You said.

"It's ok. I'm sorry I hugged you, I didn't know." They said
"It's fine." You said.

"Well it's good to see you again." They said.

"You too. I have to get back to work, see you around." You said.

They nodded and you left. You got in the back and Spencer joined you. You smiled at him and he returned it. You were coming to a scary conclusion. You were in love with Spencer Reid. You were in love before you were taken but it's gotten stronger since then. He makes sure you're taken care of at all times. He makes sure you're safe and that nothing is bothering you.

You didn't think he had the same feelings. He let you cling to him because he was the only person that you were comfortable with touching. He was your only source of human contact and he couldn't take that away from you. He knew you were safe in your own apartment, that's why he never went farther than staying with you all the time at work and when you go out. The only time he stayed at your house was the following week after you were taken. You were scared someone was going to be able to get you from inside so he stayed till you felt safe.
