You and Spencer dated for years. You felt loved, you thought you would spend the rest of your life with him. But then it happened. He left you for someone else. It was heartbreaking. You couldn't talk to him when you were working on cases. You hated hearing about Maeve, you hated watching him smile at his phone when she texted. You hated Maeve all together.

Then he proposed. It hurts you even more. He would talk about how excited he was. He wouldn't even look at you when he was talking about it. He didn't care anymore. When he was handing out wedding invitations you never got one. It broke you to know that he didn't even want you at his wedding.

That was why you quit. You couldn't take it anymore. It has been years since the team has seen you. You were now 24 and a famous singer. The only one who knew was Penelope.

Third Person POV:

Penelope was watching your latest music video. She loved to keep up with you and see how you were doing. She loved that you made a life for yourself after the heartbreak you had been through.

When she heard her door open she shut her computers down as fast as possible. It was too late though, the whole team was standing at her door and wondering what she had to hide.

"Hey guys." Penelope said, giving an awkward smile that she picked up from Spencer.

"Garcia, what was on your computer?" Hotch asked.

"Nothing." She answered quickly.

"Then you can pull it back up and let us all see." Hotch said.

"I don't think-" She started.

"Now Garcia." He demanded, cutting her off.

She turned around and pulled her computer back up. She restarted the video and let them watch your music video.

Everyone looked at Spencer, seeing how he was taking it. He thought you looked amazing. Just because he broke up with you doesn't mean that he still didn't find you pretty. A part of him will always love you, no matter what. He knew that if he invited you to the wedding, then he might have backed out. He couldn't do that to you, get married in front of you like he wasn't still in love with you.

He knew he was the one to end things, he thought he was falling in love with someone else. He knew that he didn't love Maeve as much as he did you, but by the time he figured that out he was in too deep. He knew that you wouldn't want him back. You would never take someone back after they left you for someone else.

There it was. It was about Maeve. Everyone knew that you never liked Maeve. Ever since you saw her, you couldn't stand her.

Spencer knew that you were talking about him too. How he was acting like nothing happened when broke up with you and got with Maeve. He knew it was his fault that it happened.

Once the song ended Penelope turned to the team. She watched as they all looked at each other, then to her.

"This is where she has been all this time." Emily said.

"Yeah." Penelope whispered.

"And you knew this whole time?" Spencer asked.

"I did." She answered.

"Why did you not tell us?" JJ asked.

"She didn't want me to. She didn't want you all, Spencer specifically, to find her. She has finally moved on with her life, she doesn't need reminders of what she lost." Penelope answered.

Everyone looked over to Spencer. He tried to avoid their stares. He messed up and he knew it. He turned around and left the room, he couldn't breath with all them around him. Derek followed after him, the rest of the team staying behind with Penelope.

Spencer went into the bathroom, splashing his face with water. Derek followed shortly after, stopping and waiting for Spencer to speak first.

"I messed up Derek. I messed up really bad." Spencer said.

"It's going to be ok. You have Maeve now." Derek said.

"Please don't mention her." Spencer begged.

"Why? She's your wife." Derek asked.

"Because I don't want her to be. I made a mistake. Once I knew, I was in too deep to fix it. Now, I'm married to someone I don't want to be and the person I still love hates me." Spencer explained.

"Wow." Was all that Derek said.

"I know. I'm an idiot." Spencer said.

"I don't know what to tell you. I can't help you with that. You have to do what you think is right." Derek said.

"I don't know what is right though. I know that I should end it with Maeve. I don't love her like I should. I shouldn't love someone else. I know that she has to know I still love Y/n." Spencer said.

"Then do that. I don't know if you could ever get Y/n back. You have to think about how badly you hurt her." Derek said.

"I know. God, I hate myself for what I did to her." Spencer said.

"Good luck." Derek said.

Spencer ended up ending it with Maeve. He couldn't be with her without being reminded how badly he hurt you. He called you, time and time again. Once you finally answered he didn't know what to say.

"Spencer? What do you need?" You asked.

"I know you don't want to hear from me but I need you to just listen." Spencer answered.

"Ok, you have 5 minutes." You said.

"Thank you. Ok, I want you to know that I'm sorry. I will forever hate myself for what I did to you. I also want you to know that I still love you, and please don't feel like you have to say it back. You owe me nothing. I broke up with Maeve. I couldn't be with her and love you at the same time." Spencer rambled.

"Spencer, I love you. Some part of me always will, but I can't come back. You hurt me. I can't come back to you after that." you said.

"I understand. I hope you have an amazing life, Y/n." Spencer said.

"You too, Spencer."

You hung up, sitting your phone down.

"I love you." Both of you whispered it, but neither of you heard it.
