Mary is awakened by Jace's cheerful voice coming from the bathroom.
Jace : * I was made for lovin' you baby. You were made for lovin' me.

She smiles and looks at her hand. Her left hand with the ring. She still can't believe what this ring is supposed to symbolize. But there's something else she can't believe. The fact that she was in a coma for almost two months and how many things happened in those months.
The incredible devotion of Jace. The divine punishment of the bodyguard. Lisa's incarceration. The visit from Lisa's parents. Mariza's reaction. George's filing for divorce... She could hardly believe her ears when Jace told her about all this last night.
Mary: Excuse me, but have you been staying here with me all this time?
Jace: Yes.
Mary: You haven't come out once?
Jace: Yes.
Mary: And why?
Jace: Because when you were in surgery, I made a promise. I was only going to leave the hospital with you whether we walked or not.
Mary: Ah, Jace! You're crazy, you know that?
Jace: If you mean crazy about you, yes, I am.
Mary: And what about the bodyguard?
Jace: What about him?
Mary: Did you find out who did that to him?
Jace: To tell you the truth, I didn't investigate at all.
Mary: Why? Aren't you curious?
Jace: No, baby. I don't care who did this. All I care about is that the son of a bitch is going to spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair.
Mary: Is Lisa gonna be put on trial?
Jace: Yeah, of course.
Mary: And when?
Jace: I don't know exactly. Our lawyer will notify us.
Mary: Will we be there?
Jace: We're the prosecutors, Angel. We need to be there.
Mary: I'd like to talk to her father before the trial.
Jace: And why is that?
Mary: To tell him I forgive him. Not Lisa, of course. And not his wife, either. Just him. It seems like he's a good man. I feel sorry for him.
Jace: Even though I don't approve, I'll ask our lawyer to set up a meeting.
Mary: Thank you. And I'd like to see Mariza, too.
Jace: No! Not her! You can forget it.
