"You're quite the hero aren't you? I've heard that about you," Klaus said to Stefan with a smirk on his face.

"Just make the trade. Me for Jenna." Stefan told the man.

"No." Skyler protested stepping in front of her brother, "I'm not letting you do this." She told Stefan before looking at Klaus, "Take me. Take me but do not kill Stefan."

"No." Klaus snarled, he would not have her blood on his hands, "If Stefan wants to offer himself, then I will accept the trade. But it has to be Stefan who takes her place."

"I'm not letting you do this Nik-" Klaus jumped in, snapping her neck before she could so much as finish her sentence, she fell to the ground limply, her eyes snapping shut.

"It's time." Klaus said as Skyler woke up alone on the cliff, her eyes opening as her neck ached.

She groaned, cursing Klaus as she stood, catching sight of the sacrifice below she runs down however when she tried getting to Stefan, she was stopped, forced into her own separate circle of fire with a mere glance from the witch.

Stefan struggles to stand however he ended up falling to the floor, Elena looked at Klaus as he stretched out his hand to her. Elena got up from the ground and walked past, ignoring him. She made her way to the altar and looked down at Jenna's body sadly, Skyler followed her gaze, shocked to see her dead. Klaus followed Elena up to the altar and grabbed Elena's face in his hands as below them Stefan continues to struggle off the ground. Klaus turned Elena to look at him.

"Thank you, Elena."

"Go to hell."

Stefan keeps struggling to stand however he fell again, too weak to move. Elena stared out blankly as Klaus sinks his fangs into her neck, draining her of her blood as Stefan and Skyler watched on helpless.

Klaus held Elena up tightly as the twins watched on, a moment later Klaus released her and they watched as she falls to the ground, dead. Blood dripped from Klaus's mouth as the flame in the bowl extinguishes while Elena's body lie lifeless, Stefan looked at her sadly and lowered his head.

Skyler watched silently as Klaus walked down the steps. "I can feel it, it's happening." He looked up as the full moon rises above them and his transition began, "Yes, yes!"

Suddenly, Klaus is thrown through the air. The flames in the bowl reignite, startling the witch. The witch heard, seeing Bonnie coming down the hillside, chanting a spell. Before Greta could react, Damon snuck up behind her and snapped her neck. Damon kneels down and picked up Elena's body.

"No! You were dead!" Klaus screamed as Bonnie chanted the spell.

Damon carried Elena's body over to where Stefan is on the ground, lying her down next to him. Stefan grabbed her arm as Skyler exited the circle that was once lit on fire, going to her brother's side.

"Elena." Stefan called.

Damon kneels down and ripped the remainder of the stake out of Stefan's back causing Stefan to grunts in pain. Damon grabbed Stefan's shoulder, as if to help him up, however, Stefan turned and looks up at him, grabbing a hold of his jacket.
