January—6 months pregnant

"Okay okay let's see it!" my Mom and Teeny said through a joint Zoom call that I was doing with them. We had just gotten back from Austin's short festival tour overseas and I really didn't have much time to show them–or tell them for that matter–about getting engaged, but as soon as the plane landed in Salt Lake City I had to tell them the news, or rather I had Liam send them a both a video message letting them know that Austin was going to be his real Daddy soon. Of course my Mom and Dad were a little slower at catching on than Teeny but all of them were extremely happy for me and Austin when they finally registered the news in their head.

I tried to hide my overly excited smile as I bit on my bottom lip while I slowly brought my left hand into view revealing the dainty princess cut diamond that sat atop a thin white gold band. I laughed as I saw my Mom and Teeny's eyes go wide before they both started to exclaim how perfect it was and how beautiful it was and I had to say that I couldn't agree with them more. It was perfect for me and it was a ring that I had always wanted which led me to wonder if these two had any say in what I was currently wearing.

"So I have to ask, did you two know?" I asked them with a smirk as I reached out for my water bottle taking a long sip before setting it back down on the glass topped wooden table, my elbow coming to rest against it as I pushed the computer back just a little so my face wasn't taking up the entire screen.

"Well I mean your Father knew, he had asked him the week that we came out for the balloon festival so we knew that he was going to ask to marry you we just didn't know when he was going to do it" my Mom said with a laugh as I gave her a sweet yet shy smile. Of course they knew, I didn't know why I would think that Austin would go ahead and do something like this without asking them.

"And I had absolutely no idea that this was happening whatsoever. But I have to say he has got taste, that is a beautiful ring and it fits you perfectly! It is everything that you've ever wanted since marriage was something that came into your head at such a young age" she said, rolling her eyes as she brought her coffee mug to her lips to take a long sip.

"So don't hold out, you have to tell us all about it!" Teeny said, my Mom agreeing enthusiastically as I rolled my eyes and covered my face with my hands. Of course they would want to know.

"Well he had a show in Paris and I thought it was odd that he was playing so early since he normally headlines but I didn't question it. Anyway, when he was done, and after we settled the whole Instagram debacle" I said with a sigh rolling my eyes.

"Yeah I saw his announcement. Look I didn't mean to cause any trouble, I just didn't want people talking shit about you especially since they don't know shit" Teeny said holding her hand up to the computer as I smiled and shook my head, my Mom giving me a confused look that I ignored. That was the last thing she needed to hear was that people were talking about me and Liam, not to mention she wouldn't understand.

"It's fine, I think it would've got to him anyway. Cheryl and a few others saw what was happening" I said, crossing my legs on the chair as I rested my left hand on my stomach, my thumb gently roaming over the fabric as I let out a sigh.

"His message was pretty badass though. You could tell he loves you, Liam and Ava more than fucking anything. Not everyone would do that for the girl they are with" Teeny said with a smirk, my face turning red as I nodded my head at her.

"Yeah he was pretty upset" I said looking up at her before looking over at my Mom as I smiled. "Mom I'll fill you in one day but not right now" I said as she gave me a small nod. "Anyway, back to the whole engagement thing" I said with a laugh. "He had Adam and Cheryl watch Liam for the night and we flew down to Provence. I had no idea where we were going but we ended up at the winery that he works with to make his wine and guys it is so beautiful!" I said with a smile, both my Mom and Teeny smiling back at me as I continued my story.
