George Kenyak is a minor character in the Jem animated series. He is an Alaskan villager, who initially feels that he lives in the middle of nowhere and would like to escape by selling Attuk Island.

History
At first, George appears as though he simply wants to get away from his small village and would like to be rich. He is the oldest child in the family, and tries to convince his parents to sell the island. He watches Jem and The Holograms hard at work, and comments that it might be too hard for "city girls", showing his assumption of how the girls are. He doesn't care about potentially endangering Naku or the other seals when selling the land, and says that they are useless. However, after his sister Uto goes missing, his care for her becomes clear as he joins a search party to look for her. Eventually, Naku shows up holding Ba Nee's hat and barks incessantly to catch their attention. George has his doubts, but Naku leads him and the party straight to Uto, who is stranded on the beach with Jem and Ba Nee. He then is in agreement with his father that the island should not be sold so that the seals are saved.
