The banker appears to be a man with a temper, as he is overheard by Jem and The Holograms yelling down the phone at Rick Franklin over an unpaid mortgage. Later on, he tells Rick that he has found a potential buyer for the Green Fern Ski Resort as business is slowing down, with the buyer being no other than Eric Raymond, who owns the competing resort.
