The world of pokemon is so vast and filled with all sorts of wonder. It's not a surprise when the world is filled with people and their pokemon companions.

OC and their pokemon are exploring the world, learning and perhaps participating in gym battles. They explored and experienced their life alone most the time until they ran into crush.
The two decided to explore together and go around doing what ever they wished.

*This scenerio isn't set in stone. I didn't have too much of an idea because pokemon world building can vary, so you can make up a scenerio or follow off the idea I gave.
*If you so wish the world can be set in a certain region of pokemon, but commonly I was thinking it would just be set in where UA is, with pro heros being gym leaders of sorts
*Following with the idea of being in a certain region I wouldn't mind adding the actual characters from the anime (I am most familiar with sun and moon and those character, as well as X and Y and those characters)
