Callisto and Narcissa were already sitting in their usual seats in the Great Hall, the former preparing her coffee while the latter observed them like a hawk. Narcissa could smell the alcohol on them and could see the hangover signs on their pale faces, as they both sat down and placed a single slice of bread on their plates. It was the only thing they could eat without upsetting their stomachs or tiring themselves out any further.

Callisto silently poured coffee in Regulus' mug, doing the same for Tobias although a bit more reluctantly and took a vial from her backpack, emptying most of it in Regulus' mug and leaving a small portion for the other boy.

"You both stink." Narcissa commented, spreading marmalade on her toasted bread. "Was there any party we weren't aware of?"

"A party without you? Inconceivable." Regulus sarcastically remarked, a look of appreciation in his eyes as he drank some of his coffee. Tobias let out a weak laugh, taking a bite from his bread.

"Since when are you two alcoholics?"

"Leave it, Cissy." Regulus said, waving his hand dismissively.

Callisto was surprised to see that Narcissa did in fact leave it, instead focusing on her breakfast. That was until Lucius Malfoy came over, his blonde hair hitting Callisto on the face as he took Narcissa hand and carried her plate with his other hand, leading the girl to where he was sitting with Snape without a single other comment.

"Wanker." Callisto murmured, blinking rapidly as her eye watered. "His hair is like fucking wires. Almost poked my eye out..."

"At least it didn't get in your mouth, Claire." Tobias said, a bit more cheerfully now that he had drunk the potion. "Imagine having Malfoy's hair all over your tongue."

Regulus shuddered at the thought, drinking some of his coffee.

"That's disgusting, Nott."

"My point exactly." He hummed. "Tell me, do you think the carpet matches the drapes?"

Callisto let out a laugh, her gaze trailing off to the Gryffindor Table. A small smile tugged up her lips as she saw Remus, his head supported by his fist as he listened to Marlene and Sirius bicker over what seemed to be a chocolate frog card. He seemed to notice someone was looking at him because he glanced at her, tilting his head slightly.

Unfortunately, the little exchange didn't go unnoticed by Tobias, because he turned around, a smirk on his lips as he winked at Remus and glanced back to an oblivious Callisto. Remus' smile immediately faltered and his gaze hardened, turning back to Sirius.

"Anything wrong?" Regulus asked, eyeing Tobias suspiciously.

"No, I just..." She trailed off, her eyebrows knitting together in confusion at Remus' sudden change in behavior. "Nothing, forget it."

"What is your first period?" Tobias casually asked, pouring more coffee into her half-full mug.

"Bloody DADA." Callisto huffed angrily. "Useless, I'm telling you."

"I can help if you want."

"Aren't you a year younger?" Callisto asked, her eyes narrowing as she glanced at Regulus. He was silent, the grip on his fork and knife as he tore the bread in small pieces so tight she could see his knuckles whitening.

"Yes, but I assure you, my skills are more than just satisfactory."

Regulus' knife scraped suddenly against the plate at the added pressure, making Callisto cringe at the shrill noise.

"Thanks, but I already have help in DADA." Callisto refused, drinking some of her coffee. Tobias' expression didn't falter at that; instead, he smiled slightly as he saw the concentrated foamed milk on the corner of her top lip and leaned over the table.
