To be on top, I had to maintain my strength. The brutal force I had to show everyone to make them kneel at my feet. The empire that was built before me had to be strong, and the foundation of it lies from the souls that I had to take to prove that I am worthy to be in this throne.
I am no hero. I was the savage, cold villain that some wanted to put six feet under. I am a monster, yet there were people wanted to show their loyalty to me even the cost was their lives or the people that they loved. Some even offered their precious daughters to be my wife just to secure a partnership with me.
But love was not a part of my life. The only thing that matters to me was power and money and whatever connections I could use to stay in my place.
