Y/n's POV:

"You stayed back?" Lifting my eyes up, I could see the cute dimple guy looking at me with a confused face, also having a little hint of wonder in them
My afternoon classes had come to an end, and I was busying myself with ideas and sketches as I sat on the little bench with my sketch book in the campus park area. A while ago Jimin had asked me to meet him in the library, saying he wanted to show me something. I agreed to come meet him but only an hour later as the afternoon sun felt too pleasantly warm, and as the festival was nearing it was only natural of me to invest my time with the pieces. I had lesser time than the others in the same faculty for I had been informed very later in the month. But I knew I had it in me and I wasn't afraid of a little challenge

"I said I'll join him later. What about you? What brings you here?" I said as I moved slightly towards the edge of the bench making space for him to lay his butt on

"Saw Jungkook behind the cafeteria trashing junk boxes. Thought you'd have something to do with it" He said in his usual calm tone and planted himself beside on, taking in the warm afternoon sunlight

A small giggle left my mouth on the thought of an angry Jungkook stomping his feet on the ground because 'someone' decided to not follow his words. Of course, why would I? Why would I listen to what he says? He really thought that I'd just abracadabra appear in front of him right after a text?

My uncles and aunts never fully adored me, and a prominent reason would be because I would not abide by everything they say. I have a mind of my own, old enough to take decisions and I pretty much made it clear that no one is bossing me around. No one from my maternal or paternal ever had been successful in making me do things they want me to do, and it was pretty darn bold of him to really expect me to show up there, in his command

"Perhaps Jeon Jungkook is going through puberty" And soft giggles left his mouth that reached my sensitive ears. And the next second a little laugh left my mouth as well. Perhaps Jimin was right, Namjoon's laugh is indeed contagious

"We hate each other's guts" I mumbled and I heard him reply, "He's an asshole, so it's pretty obvious from your side. Well his hate towards you is surely a take yet to tell" And now that he had spoken of the matter, it made me wonder about the reason that is driving Jungkook to act like that. If we see the outline, there's basically no reason for him to act like that, but then of course it's Jeon Jungkook we're talking about. The unpredictable Jeon Jungkook, and his moves are always very confusing. But that is an area I would not like to spend much time looking over

Jeon Jungkook isn't the first person who has ever hated me. Doesn't make him special either. On the contrary, he's giving me another reason to ignore him, and that is a win for me in the long term

"Maybe he just enjoys pushing my buttons"

"But you're not letting him do that"

"And that is what is annoying him. Another day, another win for me" And sift giggles left his mouth

One thing I appreciated among the three I met at the Lilac club men was their righteous sense. Jungkook was their baby brother in a sense, yet they were not trying to overlook his actions. Jeon Jungkook indeed was a pain in the ass, and the three sure bowed their head in agreement

"Is that a design for the show?" And I noticed him eyeing my sketch book that rested on my lap

"I wish it was" I said and that earned me a "care to elaborate?" from him
