as ha-ri shot an arrow at the last zombie standing, she heard something in the distance. she turned towards the direction, looking towards the bend of the hallway. she could hear a very familiar laugh, one belonging to a girl that she cared for dearly.

"ha-ri! are you alright?!" min-jae, her other archery friend, asked as he walked to her side.

"can you hear that? that laugh?" ha-ri asked the boy, eyes not leaving the hallway.

min-jae pursed his lips, before shaking his head. "no..."

ha-ri sighed, "okay then... i'm probably just hearing things. let's go."

"ya

"ya... we used to be classmates guys! what happened to that?" y/n questioned the zombies that she fought as laughs left her mouth from time to time, her armed hand slicing across the zombies face, aiming for the eyes as it blinded them. stabs were also directed right at the head, the knife diving deep into the creature's skulls. she then jumped up, throwing a roundhouse kick at the monsters before her.

as she landed, she felt a grip on her arm. she looked down at it, seeing a zombie pulling her hand as it tried to bite her. she shook the zombie off, kicking it's head down as her hand was let go. however, the knife from her other hand was flung, the metal clattering before the staircase behind her.

"aishh... that was a perfectly good knife..." y/n looked at the knife, before looking back to the zombies in front of her. "oh well... i'll get it back later. i've got something else anyways..." she then proceeded to flash the inside of her shirt, showcasing the multiple knives hidden behind it. "ya, ya! where should i aim at? hmmm, how about..."

she then threw the insanely sharp cut objects right at the middle of a zombies forehead, watching as that particular zombie collapsed, it's body seizing as it laid on the ground.

"jackpot! i'll aim there then!" she laughed, proceeding to throw multiple more wooden knives. "you guys think you can take a few more???"

by now, y/n was completely soaked with the zombie's blood. any open skin of hers like her face, neck, legs, etc. were all splattered with blood thickly. despite the dark colour of her school blazer, it contained dark red spots on it, seeping through the material as it reached the white shirt inside.

"uwaa... i didn't think there'd be this much of you! this only makes it more fun!!" the girl exclaimed, eyes almost sparkling at the sight of more incoming zombies. she then walked back, grabbing the knife on the floor. she looked back at the zombies. "however, i really should get back to finding cheong-san. bye-bye! i'll play with yous again later!!"

y/n wasted a few wooden knives at three of four zombies, which dropped their bodies on top of each other at the first few steps of the staircase, sort of creating a barricade for the girl as she hummed a happy tune going up the stairs.

she walked through the halls with the knife in hand, slashing the zombies across the face as she passed them. so far, she was having no luck at finding cheong-san, and it was making her sorta sad.

"ya, cheong-san, you better not have died on me!" she yelled out to no one in particular, well cheong-san, but he wasn't there.

the girl sighed, the zombie corpse collapsing behind her as she just killed it. she scanned herself, looking at the blood all over her. she then inspected her injured hand, staring at the exposed flesh, pulling a face she put that hand inside her blazer pocket. she let out a low whistle. "wu-jin's not gonna be happy with me when he sees me like this... maybe i should find other clothes... but where am i going to find that? the lockers are all the way downstairs and i think there a bit too much zombies there... i also have to bandage this hand up, its starting feel numb..."

she then paused in her steps, her feet stomping as she made a small little frustrated motion. like the one you would normally make when your getting really annoyed and frustrated, where your arms just go up like your trying to punch air, but with just one hand out, the same one holding the knife, it just looked like she was shaking her head as she waved the knife around.

"aishi-! if only i had my guns! this would make this so much easier!" she grumbled, pouting. a zombie snarl was heard from in front of her, the girl not even bothering to look up. she just slashed it, letting it fall to the floor. she then kicked its head, annoyed. "stupid principal! should've just let me keep my guns here! and stupid father for taking them away from me!!"

she then paused in her steps, hearing a banging sound coming from the wall a few steps in front of her. she tilted her head in confusion, watching as a few zombies began to walk towards it. curiosity got the best of her, walking towards it. she then realised it was one of those small metal doors that have some sort of weird pipe way and mechanical stuff inside.

she easily took out the zombies that were swarming it, throwing it a few feet away from her. as the banging continued, she just decided to open it, not even thinking whether it would be a zombie or a normal student.

her eyes immediately brightened up, seeing her friend inside. "cheong-san! you didn't die on me!"

"oh thank goodness," the boy sighed, leaving the small space. as he stood up, his eyes laid on the limp/twitching zombie bodies on the floor, then to a smiling y/n covered in blood head to toe, who had her left hand inside her blazer pocket, then the right one out holding a knife. "did you do all that? why are you covered in blood?"

she just nodded and smiled.

"is this why wu-jin always fusses over you..." the boy muttered, extending his arm sleeve and wiping it against y/n's face, cleaning the damp blood that covered her face, not fully removing it all as there were already dried blood on her cheeks. he then grabbed her free wrist, dragging her with him as he started looking for a free room. "come on, let's go find a safe room first, then figure out how to get back to the others."
