Avoiding

I woke up to some weird feeling in my body and I opened my eyes a hand clasped over my mouth " Isla you've been avoiding me for days weeks even I thought we were gonna get married and have a kid or two come on doll" tears roll down my face

" pol" I say in a panic " Isla what's wrong" I swollow thickly " can you come to the house somethings wrong bring Ada or esme but none of the lads please" " yes I'll be 5 minuites" she says without hesitating

I get in the shower and scrub my body " Isla" I hear pol she walks in with Ada " he came back like he said he did" I let the tears fall " okay time to do something tell me you didn't bin your clothes or throw them away" I shake my head " on the floor in the corner" I say she nods

" Ada call moss tell him to come tell him we are reporting a rapist" Ada nods with sad eyes walking away " bed sheets" I nod " still on the bed" I let the hot water burn my skin " I'll leave you alone I'll deal with moss" I nod

I hear voices and things I get out and change into a suit and wash my face. I walk out my bathroom see poll making my bed with Ada as I put my boots on " Isla what's happening" Isiah runs in " nothing bug why you back" he shrugs " heard police was here dunno why tho so tel me" I smile at him

" go on go out with fin" I pass him some money and he smiles kissing my cheek I slip my hand into his pocket for hums cigarettes without him knowing as he walks out " come on I'm not letting you out of my sight" pol says grabbing my hand we make our way to hers

When we get there it's quiet I make a glass of whiskey throwing it back " where have you been" I hear Tommy grumble polly gives him a pointed look " fuck off not in the mood for you this morning" i say as I take a deep breathe I see polly left going through the den shutting the doors

" we needed you" I let out a bitter laugh " yeah and where was you when I needed you Thomas no where to be fucking seen I wasn't off sleeping Thomas I was dealing with the police so fuck off" I shout as his jaw clenches " why you involved with the police" he asks I scoff

" how are you Isla I'm fine thanks Thomas" I say sarcastically " Isla stop messing around why" before I could stop myself it falls out of my mouth " because I was raped okay in my own house in my own fucking bed because men can't take no for a fucking answer and if pol didn't drag me out I would have fucking stayed away so bedtime worry about others instead of your fucking self" I shout a tear falling

I go to move past him but his arms wrap around me and I cry to get out only sobbing into his shoulder "I'm sorry Isla okay I am so sorry" I sniffle " it's not your fault"

" Tom grace is -" John walks in and I ate away from Tom he's hesitant but leaves John hugs me " what happened" I burry him head in his kneck " want to have a sleep over" I ask he nods excited and we go to dads

We get in my bed and fall asleep

" why are youse in the same bed" isiah asks as I open my eyes HES half asleep himself and he comes on the other side I cuddle him like he's 5 again

" why are you all in the same bed" dad asks I smile " Isiah wanted to cuddle me and John had a sleep over" dad nods walking down the hall to his room

" pretent to sleep ready" Isiah nods I kick John off he lands with a thud " Isla " John groans standing up

We get to house. A small cottage in the country side in the middle of no where and we walk in I see Liam sat down " this is your and liams house mines just a 5 minuite walk" mother says I nod " hello love" shivers go down my spine mother says her byes and the door shuts I get met with a punch to the face I fall into the wall behind me I groan in pain " listen here I have work most nights and you can't leave the house so all you have to do is stay put the wedding band is in the kitchen" with that he walks out I hear a car pull away

I go upstairs and bathe and change into a sports bra and shorts then go back down and sit by the phone " pol is that you" i sigh in relief " you where did you go you didn't say bye tommys going mad"I smile knowing he's ripping his hair out "can't tell Tom pol promise me I'll write you letters and stuff I'm not coming back and not for a long time"I feel my eyes gloss over promise me you will call and you'll be safe"I nod " I promise pol I love you all" with that I put the phone down

It's been about two weeks he mostly just out but before he left for work we argued like there was no tomorrow so now I'm cleaning broken plates and glasses " fuck sake" I throw it in the bin letting my tears flow when the door opens and slams shut " you upstairs now" he points at me then the stairs I shake my head backing away " please liam don't do this please" he grabs me by my hair and pull me upstairs throwing me on the bed I try to get off but he cages me underneath him
