He saw Rohan moving towards her and she hugged him with a big smile. Rohan asked her if she wanted any help or not and Riya gave her dupatta to him and fixed her earrings. After thanking him she went towards the ladies who were doing arrangements for the grihpravesh.
Raj couldn't control himself and called Rohan. "Rohan."

"Who was that girl you met earlier?" Raj asked, his eyes twinkling with curiosity.
"Arre apne usse nahi pehchana? Wo Riya. Apne Pradeep uncle ki beti. Ujjwal ki bahen."
After hearing all these his eyes widened in realization. He can't believe that the little girl who used to go school in two braids is now so grown up and gorgeous.
"Bhai!!" Rohan broke his chain of thoughts and raised his eyebrow in a questioning way.
"I can't believe that she is that choti Riya. " Rohan smiled at him knowingly and nodded his head.
"She grew up pretty quick. She is studying psychology and is too mature. But still childish." Raj could see that in her eyes. The way her eyes twinkle shows the inner child in her.
After the puja was over the family members and close family friends were sitting in the living room. Raj was really happy after meeting Ujjwal. He could still remember playing cricket with him. They used to be close friends.
Suddenly one of the aunty said, "Riya, aaj toh kuch acha pahen leti. Itne shubh din pe kala pahen k aa gayi." Desi aunties and their taunting nature is never ending.
It was Savita aunty. She didn't liked Riya because she rejected her son's marriage proposal. Raj was about to open his mouth when Riya spoke.
"Arre aunty, aap hi log kehte hai na ki kala rang buri nazar se bachata hai. Ab Sadhna aunty ka itna pyaara ghar hai aur aap yahan ayi hai, agar nazar lag gayi toh. Iss hi liye toh main aaj kala teeka ban k ayi hu. Nazar utarne."
Everyone laughed at Riya's wording and Raj looked at her with amusement. When all the guests were gone only Majumdar family and Mishra family was left.
Everyone was cleaning up the after mess when Raj saw Riya going into the kitchen. He followed her quietly and saw that she was making Badam doodhfor everyone.
