(A/F)-Misunderstood (Lucas)

A/N: Lucas is gonna be SOOOOO OOC here, this was a draft I made 5 years ago I think, I just thought I'd share this hehe.

Angst to Comfort!

Lucas was the type of boyfriend who was anti-social, kinda cold and high-key a Tsun-Tsun, not into PDA but he showed his love through actions. It was enough for you. Both of you have been dating for about 1 and a half months.

In fact, you actually confessed to him and surprisingly, he accepted. Fun fact! He blushes when you do the affections to him unexpectedly.

Today, you two decided to have a date at the mall, after eating you decided to shop a bit. On the way there, you couldn't help but have a bad feeling..

"Lu' let's go buy some junk food, I'm thinking about having a movie night tomorrow." You said while facing the food section, searching through. However, when you heard no comment, you turned to him, or where he was.

Lucas was talking to a girl. You didn't want to be the jealous possessive girlfriend and such but you were surprised when he was talking to the girl with a big grin and a blush.

To be honest, people would get the wrong idea if they look at them. They look like they were the one in a relationship.

He wasn't that smiley to you, he nodded, gave a small smile, hell he only even laughed when he teased you with some bullshit.

And her? It was that easy to get him to be soft? That's too unfair.

It hurts. That someone could give that effect to him.

You inhaled shakily and tried clearing those thoughts away, softly calling to him. No response.

A bit louder, but still no response.

So you left them be. Feeling jealous, angry, and hurt.

Jealous that he won't even look at you while talking to some girl.

Angry he got the guts to ignore and forget you.

Hurt that they seemed so happy and you couldn't do anything about it.

That you couldn't give him such effects. That you couldn't protect his cute smile and especially. You couldn't protect him from other girls. He was handsome, you admit, he looks like some prince charming while you? You like an extra for character development. You couldn't help but think why he chose you.

You swallowed the bitter taste from your mouth and walked away, walking alone.

Suddenly, you felt someone hug your side. You thought it was him.. but it was only Athynasia.. your best friend.

"(Y/N)! Are you on a date— Wait what's wrong?" She asked in confusion, you tried to act normal and smile at her to greet but it came out as a grimace.

"A-Athy! What are you doing here? Are you shop—"

"Cut the crap, what happened? Where's Lucas??" She asked with suspicion.

You bit your lip before answering, "O-Oh he.. he's buyi—"

"(Y/N)" She took her phone and showed it to me, in front was Lucas on speed dial.

"Tell me or I'm calling him."

You almost cried in front of her but you only whined.

"He's talking to a girl, he looked so happy talking to her without a care in the world so I left them be. I know I'm low but it hurts. Go to Jenette now, I don't want to bother you two any longer. I'll be fine."

You tried walking away before she gripped your hand and practically dragged you everywhere.

"Where's that idiot."

"(Y/N)! and.. Athanasia?" You heard the voice of your boyfriend making you avoid looking at his form.

"You stupid idiot why did you leave her be!" She continued rambling insults to him, making him nervously laugh. Reasons why she was your best friend. Heh.

You saw Lucas tell Athanasia something before he made her leave, you too were turning to walk.

"(Y/N), hey, why did you leave? Are you okay?" You only shook your head and tried walking away.

"(Y/N). Answer me.. please.."

"It's unfair. You're so cruel. You both looked like you're lost in your own world. I wouldn't want to disturb you." You told him blankly. And then he pulled you in a hug, tightly hugging you as if he'd lose you.

"God, I love you so much. You idiot."

A shaky breath left your lungs,

" Y-You looked so happy. You aren't even that expressive when with m-me." As embarrassed as you are to say, you were full blown crying on his chest. Thank goodness the isle you were in was deserted.

"You wanna know? It's because you drive me crazy so much. When I listen to your voice I don't want to stop listening. When you give me affection, my heart feels like it'll burst out of my chest from the adrenaline. I feel like my fave would flame out from embarrassment and that shit. I just can't help myself when I'm with you.

And the girl? We were talking about us and.. our.. uh..uhm.. haha.. private life.. I don't want to do anything rash without your consent. I want to marry you before I do those things. So please don't ever doubt my love for you. I promise I'll try to be more expressive.

Ugh. I feel like I'm losing myself because of you."

You were speechless and blushing. You only nodded with your face buried in his chest.

And from then on you never doubted him even with ups and down, he proved himself every time . And even when he loved another girl, you accepted. As you also loved her, your dear darling daughter.
