Chapter 4

Gabriel's POV

Tapos na kami kumain and mom told me that she'll sleep na. Niligpit ko na ang mga lagayan. I sat for awhile and checked my phone.

I saw Annalise is online.

"Mi amor, pfft. Kaines naman. Bakit ko pa kasi sinabi 'yon? 1 month tuloy bago mapalitan." I told myself. Anong oras na pala I got to go home na. I kissed my mom's forehead and I went to grab my bag. I turned off the T.V and left the room.

As I was walking down the hallway I received a message. Aivan sent you a message. "Open message." I said. I checked his message and he was asking.

"Gising ka pa? Tanong ko lang sana pre bukas na ba namin makikilala yung bago mong secretary?" He asked. "Oo, she'll start tomorrow." I answered. "Nice! Maganda ba?" He asked. "Baliw ka talaga, medyo." I said. "Hmm, alam ko ang medyo mo pre." He said. "Whatever, I'm at my car, I'm going home na." I said. "Osige pre! See you bukas!" He said. "Bye." I said and turned my phone off.

I didn't realize I was smiling until I saw my reflection on my window. "Why am I smiling?" I asked myself. I went inside my car and drove home, medyo pagod na rin ako. I need energy tomorrow.

I arrived at the house and tulog na ata sila, buti nalang may susi ako. Si manong guard nakatulog din ata. I opened the door and went inside. May ilaw pa ang bahay, I turned it off nalang as I went upstairs. I can feel my tiredness.

I went inside my room and decided to take a short bath.

I'm done and nagbihis na rin ako. I'm sleepy already, I might go to sleep now. Goodnight.

My alarm went off and I'm still sleepy as heck. I got up, stretched a little and went to take a bath. Ako madalas ang pangalawang pumupunta sa office, nauuna yung isa sa mga workers ko.

"Good morning sir!" Ate Melly said as I went downstairs. "Good Morning ate!" I answered. "Nakahanda na po ang almusal ninyo." She said. "Salamat ate, pero sa opisina na po ata ako kakain, dalhin ko nalang po 'yan." I said sabay lagay ng mga pagkain sa lunch box ko. "Ah sige po sir, sana po magustuhan niyo 'yan." She said. "Lagi namang masarap ang pagkain ninyo ate HAHAHA." I said sabay tawa. "Alis na po ako!" I added. "Ingat iho!" She said. I waved.

Nasa kotse na ako and Aivan called me. "Answer." I said. "Pre! Nasaan ka na? Naunahan pa kita!" He said. "Paalis na, diyan na ako mag aalmusal." I said. "Andyan na ba yung baguhan?"I asked. "Pre mag almusal ka na kaya muna? Hindi nga namin kilala kung sino yung baguhan eh! Pero pre may magandang babae dito sa lounge oh, baka siya 'to, brown ang mata." He said. "May dimples?" I asked. "Wait... Oo pre." He said. "Congrats! You found her." I said. "Siya 'yon?!" He asked. "Oo, not sure though, baka kamukha lang." I said.

"Hala pre, kinawayan ko, tinarayan ako." He said. "Ohhh, siya nga 'yan." I said sabay tawa. "Oh siya, hang up na, malapit na ako." I said. "Ok! Byebye." He said.

I parked my car and the other staffs were waiting for me. "Good morning sir Rodriguez! The new secretary is here na po." He said. "Thank you, you all may continue working."I said. I went inside the office and, I saw her. Her hair's on a ponytail again, lumalabas ang tunay na kagandahan. I smiled.

"You're here. Buti naman, akin na ang gawain ko." She said. I quickly get rid of my smile and said. "Alright, follow me." I said.

"Everyone, meet Annalise Cruz, our new secretary." I said. Everyone stood up and greeted her. "Good morning Annalise!" They also said. "Haha, Anna nalang po." She said. "Anna! Dito ang upuan mo." A girl, Bea said. She's the youngest ata dito sa company.

"Sige! Thank you!" She said. She looked at me muna. "Go on, I'll give you your work later." I said sabay punta ng upuan ko.

"What's up gwapo kong pinsan!!" Aivan said as he stormed in my office. "Kaaga aga ang ingay mo. What do you want?" I asked. "Tol pakilala mo naman ako kay Annalise." He said. "Anna, she doesn't want to be called Annalise." I said, pero that's still what I call her, geez.

"Bastaa! Pakilala mo ako, please, please!" He said. "Fine." I said sabay tayo. "Let's go." I said.

"Annali- Anna, ito na ang gawain mo, if you need help I'll be at my office." I said. "Ito pala ang pinsan ko, si Aivan." I said sabay alis. I gotta admit, I'm scared maybe Annalise will fall inlove with him..

Just kidding! Joking, charot, char.

I went back to my seat and started some works.

"Everyone, meeting." I said, sabay bukas ng pintuan ng room where we usually do our meetings.

"Today Annalise Cruz will introduce herself para mas makilala niyo pa siya." I said. Annalise looked at me. "What?" She whispered. "Yes Ms. Cruz, all the new members have to introduce themselves." I answered. "The stage is yours." I added. I went to take a seat and Annalise went to the front.

"Hello, I'm Annalise Cruz but you can call me Anna for short, 23 years old-" "Yie Aivan" Romeo said. Sabay naman tawanan ng lahat. "We all know na dapat we shouldn't interrupt anybody speaking right?" I said. Nagseselos lang talaga ako. Charot ulit.

"Sorry sir." He said. "It's okay, we all make mistakes." I said. "Continue."

"I am 23 years old, First born child with a younger sister, daughter of Julio Cruz, I'm pretty sure kilala niyo siya. That's all." She said. "What's your ideal type?" Ella asked. Sabay naman tawanan ng lahat. I'm kinda interested, go on.

"'Di nagreklamo si sir, mukhang interesado." Romeo said. "No I'm not, nakikisama nalang ako sa katuwaan niyo." I said.

"Ah well, first of all, May takot sa Diyos. Mabait sa lahat, magalang, masipag, maalaga." She said. None of the above ata ako doon. "Ayaw mo ba sa suplado at strict?" My close friend, Alfred asked, sabay tingin sa'kin, he's in front of me kasi eh. I looked at him, madly. "Well, depends." She answered. What do you mean by depends? Just answer yes or no bruh.

"Alright the introduction is done, anybody here wants to introduce themselves to Anna?" I asked sabay tayo. Walang sumagot. "Baka si Aivan gusto." Jack said. "I already introduced myself to her, right sweetheart?" Aivan asked. The heck, sweetheart?

"Haha oo, pero I don't allow anybody to call me that hehe." She said. Lagot, Mi amor ang name niya sa contacts ko.

"Alright, liligawan ka muna ng pinsan ko." Aivan said. "What are you talking about? Ikaw ang may gusto, ikaw ang manligaw! The meeting's over, continue your works." I said sabay palarong suntok kay Aivan. "Aray! HAHAHA!" He said sabay namin tawanan. Aivan and I were really close.

"Don't worry tol, she's yours." He said. "How many times will I tell you-" "Work muna, wala munang girlfriend. Ble ble ble." Aivan said as he tried copying what I always say to him.

"Pre, it's obvious you like Anna. Support ko kayo." Aivan said. "Whatever, I'll go catch up on some work." I said sabay upo ulit to do my works.
