His Secretary (COMPLETED)

Chapter 3

Gabriel's POV

"Need help! I don't know what happened to my car!" I shouted. "Don't worry kuya, may gamit ka ba?" A girl asked sabay lapit sa bintana ko. "Annalise?!" "Gabriel?!"

"What are you doing here?" She asked. "I'm going somewhere, ikaw? Gabi na ah?" I said. "Don't mind me. May mga gamit ka bang we can use?" She asked. Mabait naman pala si Annalise, mataray lang.

"Actually wala, I was about to call the towing company." I said. "You know how to fix cars?" She asked. I shook my head. Wala akong alam kung paano. She nodded and went to get things on her car.

I went outside my car and looked at her. "Need help carrying those?" I asked, walking towards her. "Nope, kaya ko 'to." She said.

"A broken engine, is this old?" She asked. "Siguro, kay kuya pa 'yan." I answered. She then get to work and tied her hair. Mas nakita ang beauty niya as her hair were tied, her face was showing. Brown eyes and a dimple.

Huh what-

"May problema ka?" She asked. "Ah- wala wala." I said sabay look away.

I grabbed my phone then suddenly she said. "Alright, I'm done." She said. I looked at her in shock. "Oh? Bakit ka parang gulat na gulat?" "Easy work, my dad used to own a mechanic shop before." She said. She lend me her hand. "Payment?" She asked. "Tomorrow." I said sabay pasok ng kotse. "Thank you though, I'll pay you tomorrow." I said. She just took a deep breath and rolled her eyes. I laughed. She also went inside her car.

Very independent, what a great wif- secretary. 'Di ko siya type 'no, ew.

I parked my car outside the bakery and grabbed my wallet. May pera naman talaga ako, and I should've paid Annalise earlier. Bukas nalang, baka kulangin pa ako.

I went inside the bakery.

"Oh! Gabriel!" Nanay Luisa said. She's been there since I was a child. Suki na kami dito. "Good evening, nay. Gabi na po ah? 'Di pa kayo natutulog?" I asked. Nanay Luisa is actually a close friend of mom. "Ah, ilang oras ang idlip ko kanina iho, kaya wala akong nararamdamang antok ngayon." She said. "Upo ka na iho, dadalhin ko nalang sa'yo ang order mo." She said. "Okay lang nay, tulungan nalang po kita." I said. She smiled and nodded.

"Alejandro? Mahal paabot nga ng keso mahal" She said. My heart broke. Tatay Alejandro passed away 3 years ago, miss na miss na siya siguro ni nanay.

"Hay naku ang lalaking ito talaga, mahina na ang pandinig." She said. "Ako nalang ho nay, baka tulog po si tatay." I said sabay abot ng cheese sa kanya.

"Salamat Gabriel, lagi nalang tulog ang tatay Alejandro mo." She said, I smiled.

Umupo na ako.

"Alam mo iho, sobrang swerte 'ko kay tatay mo, nung una naaalala ko pa, hindi pa siya umaamin nun sa akin! Yung mga kaibigan niya tinutukso siya sa akin pero lagi niyang sinasabi na hindi niya raw ako gusto, sus! Pinakasalan naman ako sa huli hahaha." She said as she sat with me as well, while mixing her tea.

"Napaka suplado rin nun dati, magka grupo kami noon sa eskwelahan tapos ako ginawa niyang assistant." She added. I smiled, and ganda ng love story nila Nanay Luisa at tatay Alejandro..

"Kaya ikaw iho, 'pag may nagugustuhan ka, huwag kang matakot na sabihin sa kanya ang tunay mong nararamdaman, baka gusto ka rin niya, 'di ba?" She said. "Haha, wala pa ho sa isip ko ang pag nonobya, nay. Trabaho po muna." I said. "Kailangan mo rin magkaroon ng kasama Gabriel, kailangan mo rin paglaanan ng oras ang pagmamahal." She said.

"Mabait kang tao, iho. May itsura ka pa! Siguradong marami ang magkakagusto sa'yo." She said. "Pero kung ayaw mo pa talaga, ayos lang iho, everything takes time." She said.

I smiled. Lagi akong nabibigyan ng advice ni Nanay Luisa everytime I visit here.

I don't know but the time Nanay Luisa told me that, all I think of, is Annalise. Am I inlove? Hope not. She's just my secretary, nothing else.

Trabaho muna Gab, trabaho.

Tapos na kami mag usap ni Nanay Luisa. Binigay ko na rin ang bayad ko. "Uuwi ka na ba iho? Pasensya na ha, nawili ako sa kakausap." She said. "Ayos lang Nay." I said. "Ingat ka sa pag uwi, kamusta mo ako kay mom mo." She said. "Opo nay."I said and smiled sabay labas ng bakery.

My phone vibrated and saw I received a message from Aivan. You received a message from Aivan.

I opened it and saw a picture of girls in line and, is this my building?!

"Call Aivan." I said. Calling Aivan. "Pre! Gladly you called! Nakita mo ba yung sinend ko?!" Aivan asked panicked. "Oo, what's happening there?" I said as I went inside my car. "Maraming girls ang nakapila, mag apply daw as your secretary." He said. Aba akala ko ayaw niyo na?

"May secretary na ako, Aivan. Pakisabi." I said. "Sige pre saglit." He said. I started my car and drove to the hospital, ibababa ko muna yung pagkain ni mom before I go to the company. In the middle of the fricking night may ang aapply pa?

"Bad news pre." Aivan said. "Oh? Ano nangyari?" I asked. "They don't want to believe me, gusto nilang makita ka." Aivan said. "Are they seriously are applying as my secretary?" I asked. "Put in on loudspeaker, I'll talk to them." I said. My phone's at the holder so both of my hands are on the wheel, don't worry.

"Go na tol." He said. "Ladies." I said. I heard their screaming and shouting. Bruh it's almost 11- "I'm sorry but I already have a secretary." I said. Now I can hear them being mad. "Go home and be safe. Sorry again." I said. "Umalis na sila." Aivan said. "Phew." He added. "Thanks bro, hang up ka na. I'm driving." I said. "Always welcome, sige ingat sa byahe!" He said sabay putol ng linya.

After a few minutes I arrived at the hospital. I saw Yssa outside. I went outside my car. "Si mom?" I asked. "She's watching T.V, she's waiting for you." She answered. I nodded. "May pasalubong ka sa'kin?" She asked. Yssa can be too assuming sometimes..

"Wala, you didn't tell me to buy you anything so, I bought for mom and I lang." I said. She took a deep breath and got mad. "Ano ba Gab! You never took care of your wife!" She said. "Huh what? First of all, hindi pa tayo kasal, second, I don't want to marry you, last. Stop assuming everything. I never agreed to this Yssa." I said, sabay pasok ng hospital.

If only I can stop my friendship with you Yssa..

I went inside mom's room and placed the foods sa table.

"Oh anak, andito ka na! Tara, kain na tayo." Mom said. I smiled and nodded, kumain na kami.
