CHAPTER 2

"HOW'S your relationship with Andrew? You two were dating for a long time, wala ba kayong balak magpamilya?"

I looked at my dad, they're complaining about me having a family. Hindi naman sila nagmamadali in fact they want us to break up. Ewan ko ngayon bakit parang gusto na nila.

"We're still not talking about it, dad. Drew and I still want to settle down before that"

He nodded, looked so relieved about it. "Good..."

Hindi ko na pinansin ang huling sinabi ni dad, hindi ko naman kailangan ang opinyon nila tungkol sa aming dalawa. Tutal desisyon namin yun kung kailan kami magpapakasal.

Pagkatapos kong kumain ay dumeretso ako sa dati kong kwarto, I'm just visiting them. I was living with Andrew after a couple of months being together. May sarili naman na akong bahay, hindi ko na kailangang tumira sa iba pero gusto kasi ni Drew kaya sumama na ako.

[Be there tomorrow, okay? I need you, love.  Baka hindi ako mapakali pag wala ka dun] He spoke.

After taking a shower he called me, saying I need to go to his office. And of course I agreed. "Of course, how's Maricel? The surgery?"

Maricel is Andrew's little sister, she has a heart problem since she had birth. Glad she's been enduring it for how many years and now she's doing fine.

[Yeah... anyways she's looking for you, gusto niya raw pagkalabas niya yayain mo siya to go to mall]

"Isn't that dangerous? I mean... galing pa lang siyang hospital"

He chuckled lightly. [Nah... she can enjoy now, wag lang masyadong magpapakapagod]

"I'm glad she's okay.... by the way, what's your plan in our anniversary? I was thinking about it for a long time"

He paused a bit before he spoke. [Oh yeah... let's have a vacation maybe? I don't know love, siguro hindi kita madala sa ibang bansa? I'm busy you know]

I'm a little but disappointed but I understand him, I don't need a grand celebration though. He.... with me, together. Is all I want.

"Ano ka ba naman, I won't mind... I don't need it, let's just gave some time on each other and celebrate it. Kaya ko namang pumunta sa ibang bansa eh, no worries I understand you"

[Yeah... ano bang nagawa ko at nagkaroon ako ng isang perfect na girlfriend na katulad mo? I love you mahal]

Natawa ako sa sinabi niya. "I love you too"

"SERYOSO KA NA ba sa desisyon mo? I know I'm not in the position to say but... Drew can ditch his work for you, and besides it's your anniversary Nicole. Not just some occasion he can ditch anytime"

Napailing ako sa sinabi ni Angela. I don't want Drew ditching his work for me like what he did in our five monthsary. Nagalit ako nun dahil importante pala ang trabaho niya, baka mas importante nga yung ngayon dahil masyado siyang tutok dun.

"Hindi ko naman kailangan ng bakasyon, in fact I need to live inside my office because of papers in my table. Tama lang na hindi muna kami lalabas ni Drew ng bansa kasi masyadong busy ang mga tao ngayon"

Si Angela naman ngayon ang napailing. "Hindi na ako magsasalita, but if the two of you had a time together... please have a vacation you two. Masyado kayong workaholic, buti nag work yang relasyon niyo"

I laughed a bit. Of course we'll worked, who wouldn't? Wala namang sisira sa aming dalawa.

"Yeah. Yeah. We'll do it bae"
