Austin began talking about his past life as if he's told the story a hundred times before. "I came from the normal household of a mom, dad, and a sister, and my parents were always in the normal amount or arguments as any other family," Austin begins, looking around the circle towards Abigail, Derek, and Amelia. "I can't recall the specific day, but my parents filed a divorce when I was only six years old, my sister Caroline only two," Austin shook his head as he spoke, his eyes now lingering to the wooden floor.

"I stayed with my father and Caroline went with Mom. My father started drinking, and his only emotion was anger. He would beat me if I didn't do something right, and once my mother found out and took me in with her, he lost his mind," Austin lets out a shaky breath, cupping his hands over his mouth before speaking again.

"He broke into our house in the middle of the night with a knife and stabbed my mom. I ran downstairs from hearing her scream and I watched my father-- I watched him slit Caroline's throat. I grabbed the phone and dialed 911, hiding in the bathroom until the police came. They arrested my father and sent me into child protective services, where I met Kyle.

"He was there with this beautiful girl named Melody. He was a charming guy back then, he laughed, he didn't hurt anyone--" Austin stops his sentence for a laugh. "He was actually decent to be around, surprising right?"

Austin glances up towards the video cameras before continuing. "I was with them for a year in a half before something happened to Melody. She didn't come home from work the time she was supposed to, and she wouldn't answer his calls. It turned out Melody was involved in a really bad car accident, and she died on impact. She didn't even make it to the hospital before her heart stopped. That's why Kyle became so psychotic, if Melody never died we probably wouldn't be here right now,"

"I'm not sure about that," Amelia adds on, turning her head towards Austin as she spoke. "Kyle was born as a psychopath, if it was because of Melody he would've kidnapped us possibly based off of Melody's death. Most likely, her death just caused him to snap and begin stalking and kidnapping,"

"I see," Derek nods his head as he tries to understand what Amelia had said. "Is it bad I feel a little sorry for Kyle with Melody?"

"No, it's a human emotion, you would feel bad for someone anyways if their wife died and they didn't turn into a kidnapping serial killer," Abigail reminds him, standing up from the floor. At the same time she rose to her feet, a bullet was shot through the door and was fired inches from Abigail's head. The door is kicked open and Kyle stands in the doorway, a rifle clutched in his trembling right hand.

"Wesley. Austin. You're coming with me," Kyle declares, looking back and forth between Abigail and Austin. "I'm not fucking around!" He aims his gun and fires a bullet between Austin's legs, a surprised scream escaping from his mouth. Abigail walks forward to the door with Austin stumbling behind her.

Kyle glares back at Derek and Amelia before slamming the door and grabbing Abigail's hand. She cries out in pain from her bandages, turning away from Kyle with tears in her eyes. "Austin, why did you tell them?"

"Kyle please stop," Austin pleads, taking a step forward.

Kyle pushes away the bandage from Abigail's left hand and digs his nail in the hole in her hand, making Abigail scream and collapse to the ground from the pain. "I don't know Kyle! I don't know! Please just let her go and punish me for it!"

Kyle throws Abigail to the floor and grabs Austin, shoving him up against the wall. "I should just go ahead and slit your throat now. You should've never told them!"

He punches Austin in the jaw and his weak body collapses to the ground. Kyle turns back around to Abigail, throwing back open the door. "Go back inside, and I swear to God if you come out I'll make you regret it for the rest of your short life,"
