Abigail could hear Derek's screams all the way down in the basement. She sits on the floor next to Amelia who had her face buried in her knees as she cried. Another scream echoed down to the basement and Abigail tenses, leaning her head back on the wall. Alexander sits in a metal chair by the stairs, pulling a cigarette from his pocket with a lighter.

"You're such a fantastic friend, Abigail," Alexander laughs, lighting his cigarette and putting it in his mouth as he shoves the lighter back into his jeans pocket. "I don't know what I would do if you were my friend,"

"Shut up, Alexander," Abigail hisses, glaring over at Alexander.

"What are you going to do if I don't, honey?" Alexander smirks, standing up from his metal chair. Abigail continues staring up at him, rising to her feet from the cold floor and begins walking towards him with her fists clenched.

"Alright Alexander, zip up your pants and put the ruler up," Sarah demands from the stairs, holding Derek's wrist in her right hand. Abigail glances up from Alexander and sees Sarah standing in the doorway of the basement, and Derek barley conscious on his knees next to her. "And Alexander, Kyle wants you to bring up Abigail, can you do that or do you need me to hold your hand as you bring her up?"

"Shut up, Sarah," Alexander hisses and turns his head back to Abigail, a smirk forming across his lips. "Alright, you want me to bring you up the easy way or--"

"God Alexander, we don't have all day," Sarah rolls her eyes as she drags the barley conscious Derek down the stairs and lays him next to Amelia. "I'll take her upstairs then, come on Abigail,"

Sarah walks up the stairs and turns her head towards Abigail once more, raising an eyebrow. "Don't make this harder than it needs to be, hon,"

Abigail sighs and pushes past Alexander, walking up the stairs of the basement and following after Sarah, shutting the door behind them. She follows Sarah to the bedroom where Kyle sits on the bed, rocking Charlie back and forth in his arms.

"Thank you Sarah, you can leave now," Kyle looks up from the baby and smiles up to Sarah as she walks away and leaves Kyle and Abigail alone.

"Don't tell me what to do," Sarah mutters before shutting the door behind her as she walks out the door.

"Kyle, please just give Amelia her daughter back, will you?" Abigail asks in the doorway, stepping further inside the bedroom.

"You're forgetting she's my daughter too, Abigail," Kyle stands up from the bed, laying Charlie down on the bed. "I am her father, I can love my daughter just like Amelia was allowed to. I can take care of my daughter, just like Amelia was allowed to,"

"What do you mean was? She still can take care of Charlie," Abigail clenches her fist, staring up at Kyle.

"You see, that's the problem Abigail. I have been thinking about it and I've realized, Amelia can't take care of this baby," Kyle chuckles under his breath, shaking his head. "She believes she can take care of herself and Charlie. But I think we both know she can't,"

"Yes she can, Kyle! She's taken care of herself for the past year now and Charlie has been perfectly fine!" Abigail raises her voice, looking down at Charlie asleep in the bed.

"She's blind for God's sake, Abigail! I even know that she might not last much longer!" Kyle screams, grabbing a fistful of Abigail's shirt.

"You made her blind, Kyle! But you can't just take her baby!" Abigail replies, trying to keep her breathing steady as she stares up at Kyle.

"No Abigail," Kyle pushes Abigail away from him and throws her back onto the floor. "Charlie is mine now, not Amelia's. I'm keeping her with me, and I'm going to raise her to be just like me. And the more you complain about Charlie to me, the worse she's going to end up being a little Kyle,"
