CHAPTER 38

Loneliness, something we shouldn't feel often, especially when we have a lover in our life. loneliness just doesn't come from not having a lover, it can come from not having a friend, or a family to come home to.

but for Khiona, loneliness is one of her traits, ever since she moved in with Alyxcs.

but does Alyxcs, ever feel the same?

''Hey, anong ginagawa mo?'' 

Alyxcs messaged Khiona, after putting some papers away, since him and his co-lawyers are planning to eat outside for lunch. as Alyxcs stares at his phone, waiting for Khiona's respond, he's starting to think, that she's either asleep, upset or masturbating.

since it's been a while since they've last done it together.

''Alyxcs.''tawag ng co-lawyer niya na pumasok sa opisina niya, the guy smiled brightly. ''dude, let's go.'' he said, agad naman tumango ang binata at tumayo.

''tahimik ka ngayon ah? bakit? nag away ba kayo ni misis?''tanong nito, Alyxcs chuckled from what he said and shook his head.

''we didn't fight.'' he said. 

''oh? bakit ganyan itsura mo? kilala kita Santisima, hindi ka nalulungkot kung walang nangyari. iba yan oh, hindi naman stress at galit yan, lungkot yan.'' he said.

''manahimik ka na nga, Andrew at tara na.''Alyxcs chuckled and shook his head as he walks towards him.

''pero seryoso, ganon ba buhay may asawa? mahirap?''tanong ni Andrew as they walk away together. 

''hindi naman.'' ani ng binata. ''hindi ko pa naman siya asawa, we're just living together and engaged.'' he said. ''pero sige, parang ganon na nga.''

''paano ba yan, hindi pa nga kayo kasal namomoblema ka na, paano pag kinasal na kayo baka ma-depress ka pa.'' he laughed, trying to enlighten the mood.

''we don't have a problem, i'm just tired.'' he stated. 

''sure ka ah.''ani ng lalake, nang makarating na sila sa lobby, at doon nga naghihintay ang mga co-workers niya para kumain na.

''sino wala pa?''tanong ni Andrew sa mga co-lawyers nila.

Alyxcs took his phone from his pocket to see any messages from Khiona, agad naman niyang pinindot ang text box at nagsimula na mag type.

''sorry i sounded rude kanina, kakain kami ng lunch, hope i can eat some lunch with you soon. :)'' 

he texted. 

''sorry i was doing chores and sure, when you're free.'' 

she replied coldly.

habang nakatingin sa cellphone ang lalake, Andrew couldn't help but notice they co-lawyer staring at Alyxcs from a far.

''dude, you know Mei, right?''tanong ni Andrew.

''hm? yeah, she's a nice girl.'' Alyxcs muttered as he tries to text back Khiona, trying to read her feelings through her message.
