Scarcely Accused

“You’ll be happy when I die.”
And she died.

I accused him,
And he took the blame.

’Twas not his fault she died,
And I was wrong for seeking vengeance.

I was accused,
I showed no fear.

They blame us both
From the decision I made.

They questioned my kinship
For showing no sympathy.

Am not that cold-hearted,
I also suffered in silence.

Yeah, she’s young to die for her age,
But she suffered all her life.

She was a sickly baby,
But You let her live.

She was deprived of food for being in poverty,
But You fed her enough to stay alive.

Fell from a cargo vehicle,
Yet You saved her there.

She bled her forehead from an accident,
Yet You let her live still.

Fell from horseback riding, for serving You,
Yet she lived to be of use.

She almost drained her blood dry from childbirth,
Yet she was alive to raise her baby to puberty.

Shouldn’t they be grateful
That, Lord, You save her from the dilemma of this world?

Shouldn’t they rejoice
That now she’s with You, Lord?

It was the time You took her,
People couldn’t accept and only pointing finger.

You took her to give her rest,
And I accepted that it’s her time to be face to face with You, God.

She prayed to die with no hassle,
And You fulfilled her prayer.

The One who she dedicated all her youth unto,
You granted her an everlasting life in that moment on.

She died for a reason,
And we wait to learn for more.
