I should have been a nurse,
Tending my patients needs,
Checking if they’re still sick.
I should have been successful,
Becoming the head nurse,
Checking my nurses’s jobs.
Now, I’m tending my own child,
Tending her to be loved,
Checking if she’s alright.
Now, I’m chasing my husband,
Who ran away from us that I should have be the one,
Who gave me nothing to look forward into.
But despite this all,
There’s Someone Greater who saved my life,
And gave me something to look forward
