Chapter 1

Hardworking, famous, everyone's crush, handsome, owns a company, but can't make any secretary stay. That's Gabriel Rodriguez.

Gabriel's POV

"Wala pa bang nag aapply today?" I asked my cousin, Aivan. "Wala pa rin pre eh. Mukhang ayaw na talaga nila sa'yo." He answered. Walang secretary ang tumatagal sa'kin. "Suplado." "Sayang, pogi sana." "Strict, sobrang strict." "Daming pinapagawa, wala naman ginagawa." Are mostly the comments I always hear from my ex secretaries.

How can I make their work good if I'm not going to be strict?! Ano gusto nila, ibaby ko sila? No way.

"Ayaw din kasi ni Ashley, may trabaho na kasi siya." Aivan added. Ashley's my cousin too, Aivan's sister.

"Ayaw mo naman kay Claire eh siya nalang ang choice mo." He said. "I would rather not have any secretary for the rest of my life than having her as my secretary, Aivan." I answered. "Dude, she's mad crazy!" I added. I remembered her not caring about things, parang siya pa nga ang CEO ng company, tss. Tapos she's asking me to bring her back sa company, huh, asa siya.

"Mr. Rodriguez! Ang dad niyo po." One of the workers said. "Tell him I'm not here!" I said. "Too late." Dad said as he walked in. "What do you want?" I asked. I'm tired of talking with him, walang araw na hindi niya ako pinag kukumpara.

"Be like-" "Be like your kuya Rick, may respeto, maraming secretary! Am I right?" I asked. "Good thing you know." He said sabay tap ng balikat ko.

I rolled my eyes and went to my desk. "Need mo pa help, pinsan?" Aivan asked. "Maybe later, thanks bro." I answered. He nodded and went outside my office. I took a deep breath and started my work again.

I looked at the file of applicants that Aivan sent me. Lima lang? I don't even know if these five were worth it to be my secretary.

"Popular, and worth it to be your girlfriend."

The heck? It's an application for being my secretary. Not a girlfriend.

I have looked at everything and wala pa rin sa kanila. Geez.. Someone's calling me. "Hello?" I asked. "Gabriel, get ready. We will meet someone later on the evening." Dad said. "Dad. It's 1 pm. You're too advanced." I said. "It's better when you're ready habang matagal pa." Dad said. "K." I said sabay putol ng linya.

"Pinsan!!" Aivan ran inside the room. "Oh? Ano'ng meron?" I asked. "Marami na ulit ang nag aapply!" He said. "Let me guess, all of them wants to apply as my girlfriend?" I asked. "Well uh- medyo tama ka nga doon." Aivan said sabay kamot ng ulo.

"Sabi na eh. Kaya nga halos lahat ng secretary ko just wants to be my girlfriend lang, not to help me in my work. Gosh." I said. "Makakahanap ka rin pre, tiwala lang." Aivan said sabay labas ulit.

I continued doing my work.

A few hours had passed and it's 6 already, dad gave me the time at 8 pm daw kami aalis. Sino ba 'yun at kailangan ko pang sumama?

I went outside my office. "Everyone, I gotta leave early, may pupuntahan kami ni Dad later in the evening. Kayo na ang bahala dito." I said and went to the elevator.

As I got out of the elevator I went to my car and drove to the house.

ringg!!

"Gabriel! Nasaan ka na ba?!" Dad screamed. "Dad chill, matagal pa. I'm on my way home." I said. "They're here already, bilisan mo naman! Be like-" "I know, gets ko na. Be like kuya bla bla bla." I said sabay patay ng phone. I'm so tired.

I arrived at my house and sinalubong ako ng mga kasambahay. "Good evening sir! Ano po gusto ninyong hapunan?" Ate Melly asked. "Sa restaurant po ako kakain ate, magluto nalang po kayo nung para sa inyo." I said. "Ah sir, akin na po ang bag niyo." Kuya Allen said. "Salamat po." "Magbibihis lang po ako at aalis na rin." I said sabay pasok ng bahay.

Tapos na ako and I went downstairs, my bag's already prepared. "Kumpleto na ho lahat ng gamit niyo sir, phone, wallet and shades, may earphones din po diyan." Ate Melly said. "Thank you ate, bye po!" I said sabay punta sa kotse ko.

"Ingat sir!" Sabi ni kuya Allen. Kumaway nalang ako.

I arrived at the restaurant dad told me. I got out of the car and I fixed myself to go inside.

"Oh! Pre! Ito nga pala si Gabriel!" Dad said as he introduced me sa kausap niya. "Good evening, sir. Gabriel Rodriguez, it's nice meeting you." I said, we shook hands.

The man also invited us to take a seat. "By the way, I'm Julio Cruz. My daughter's at the comfort room right now." He said. Daughter? Heck? Is dad setting me up for a date or what?

"Sorry I'm late. I don't want to be here in the first place." Pagtataray nung babae. "Anak, act nice." Mr. Cruz said. "Introduce now." He added. She looked at me. I felt scared not gonna lie, I feel like she's about to k1ll me with that look.

"Annalise Cruz, daughter of Julio Cruz." She said. I looked serious too and said. "Gabriel Rodriguez." We shook hands as well. "Are we done yet?" We both said. "Ah, may sasabihin pala kami." Dad said. "Anna will be your new secretary, Gabriel." Mr. Julio said. "What?!" Annalise said. "No way!" She added.

"I would be very glad working with her." I looked at her. She rolled her eyes on me. I feel like she's a great secretary.

"Masyadong mataray ang anak ko, Gabriel. Sana mahaba pasensya mo." Mr. Julio said. "Don't worry sir, babait ang anak niyo dahil sa'kin." I said. "Babait? As if." She said.

"When do you guys start?" Dad asked. "Tomorrow." I answered. Annalise looked at me, shocked. "Surprised, Annalise? Haha. You're work starts tomorrow." I said. "Whatever." She said. I just smiled at her, making her more mad at me.

She's a perfect fit to be my secretary, I know it. 'Di siya yung tipong kinikilig 'pag nakita ako, unlike the others.

I like her already.

AS A SECRETARY! NOTHING ELSE!!
She's not my type, to be honest.
