DOMINIQUE JACOBS NEVER fit in with her uptight family. She didn't like smiling for family portraits, or doing anything to promote her father. She was grateful for every opportunity she got, but as far as she was concerned it was all bullshit. That is what set her apart from her siblings, from her stupid parents, from everyone.

From a young age, Dominique knew people were selfish. People judged and were ruthless and her brain couldn't help but focus on that. Her therapist said that her brain was the root of her Social Anxiety. Dr Brady said it was all in her head, but Dom knew the truth.

Since her doctor declared Dominique a mental case, she had the pills to show. She had never really taken them, especially recently. She'd rather self medicate. She smoked lots of weed and drank lots of Vodka. Maybe that's why she was as addicted. It made her feel good. It made those chemicals in her brain hop around.

That's why she sat in front of Christopher McKay's house, sipping a Cranberry and Vodka. She'd been totally bored and out of place. She'd already smoked a whole joint before just letting her urge to drink take over.

"Get out of the fucking car, Dom. I don't need people to know I picked you up like some kind of parent drop off." Nate ordered with his voice harsh. It wasn't something that scared her anymore. That's who he was.

"Fuck you." Dominique grumbled, flinging the door of his truck open. She hopped down and slammed it behind her. Nate was pissing her off a lot more now that Maddy wasn't up his ass.

Everyone in front of the house watched as she went into McKay's house. Sweat beaded at Dominique's neck. She was so fucking nervous to be at another party. She hated them, but Nate could only go if she went. For whatever stupid reason.

She bounced through small groups of people. A song with a good beat played which excited her. It helped when her mind was focused on something else.

"No fucking way," Maddy Perez said in awe at her ex boyfriend's sister's presence. Dominique turned to her voice and smiled. She always liked Maddy, a lot. "I can't believe you're actually here."

"Me either." Dominique replied awkwardly. It was the worst. Having a conversation full of small talk.

Maddy observed the girl, who's skin was tinted purple due to the lights shining down on them. She couldn't help but notice how different she was to Nate. Dominique was just so soft looking.

"Fez's been asking for you. It's totally cute. You and Fez. I always thought you'd work out and just fuck," Maddy informed Dominique, not failing to make the girl blush. "Go find him, sexy. I'll see you."

Maddy walked away, leaving Dominique flattered and flustered for two different reasons.

Dominique was always super innocent. She was just like her bestfriend Lexi, but she just drank and smoked all of the time. Dominique only fucked Fez and Dom was going to keep it that way for a while.

A boy from Dominique's class reeled her in by her hips, pulling her in close causing her to chuckle. He was totally gay and in love with any male who shed a little attention on him.

Dom was obsessed with Dean.

"E or Xanny?" Dean asked and Dom shrugged.

"Surprise me." Dominique responded, sticking her tongue out for the mystery pill to be placed on her. He smile and placed one on her tongue.

"E it is then." Dean whispered, letting Dominique kiss him on the cheek. "They're safe. I got them from Fez the other day. They're strong though."

"Okay, love you." Dominique shouted over the music, walking away. She danced through the crowd, already high because of the weed.

Somehow, Dominique made her way outside. That's also when the Ecstasy began to kick in.

"Yo, D!" Fezco called out to the girl. Her half lidded eyes looked toward him. She grinned ear to ear when she seen him, plopping down beside him.

"Hey Fez." Dominique greeted, her tone lower than she liked. Her mouth felt dry, so she sipped her drink. Fezco chuckled and leaned back.

"You on that shit again?" Fez quizzed, staring forward and she let out a dreamy sigh. She'd been staring at his pretty side profile.

"I'm at a party, Fezco. This isn't a church." Dom responded to his worry. He clasped her hand and kissed her knuckles. It was a normal occurrence.

Fez and Dom had been on and off for the past two years. They dated at first, but just ended up as fuck buddies. So, Maddy was right. They did fuck. He was very protective over her, so she cut it off. That didn't mean she couldn't flirt, right?

"Rue's back," Fez informed the girl beside him. She giggled and looked around, catching her leaving the backyard. "She asked about you."

"Cool. What'd she ask?" Dominique asked leaning towards into Fezco and he laughed.

"If you were on your shit again." Fez answered and she giggled even though there wasn't anything funny. He looked down at the girl as she slowly went down to lay in his lap and stare up at him.

His question had been answered. She was on her shit again.
