My shouder ached as we walked. My grey spotted fur shined in the sunlight like the old grey sunning rocks back at the old camp. Mooncloud told me about them. Then a reddish-sliver thing flashed by my face. I jumped 2 fox-lengths back.
"We call these paths two-leg rubbish. The things they ride in are sliver-rubbish. They have circles to move them. I died from one." I watched her shiver at that memory.
"We wait at the edge until I say "run"." She called.
I watch one sliver-rubbish flash past then I heard Shinningstar crow out.
"Run cats run!!"
I pushed forward. My legs buckled under me.
"Help! Help me. Mooncloud, somebody, help!" I screeched out.
I watched the sliver-rubbish come toward as I braced myself. I felt it go past. A searing pain when through my leg.
"Owwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Owwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa." I shrieked.
Mooncloud raced toward me. I barely saw her. I blinked 4 times trying to adjust my vision before pasting out.
