Sid looked at Abhinavi but they shrugged their shoulders as even they had no idea why V.A would do so. He spoke in a louder voice

Sid: Mom wha-

V.A knew he was going to object but she didn't want him to say anything in front of the guests So she quickly went to him and took him away from the guests

Sid: Mummy, what are you doing?

He said in a louder voice

V.A: Speak softly Aashu! They shouldn't hear us

Sid: First you listen to me mom. What's wrong? Why would you do that?

V.A answered coldly

V.A: Why? Didn't you promise me that you'll get married to any girl I like/

Sid: Mummy but you also said that I can choose the girl myself. If you like her then you won't object. And you like Avneet!

V.A: I USED to like her. Not anymore! 

Sid: Come on mom. You yourself agreed to our relationship. How can you change your decision so quickly?

V.A: Maybe I wouldn't have it if I knew she was Sonia's daughter

Sid: So my doubt was right! You both already know each other! 

V.A: Yes! And now you also listen carefully! Forget your Avneet! Forget that you ever loved her!

Sid was shocked 

Sid: I can never!

V.A: Then if you really want to hold any relations with that family, you can forget ME!

Sid: No mummy, I can't even think about forgetting you!

V.A: Right, so then trust me! I don't want you to hate her but just finish this relationship. 

Sid: But then what's the problem?

V.A: You don't want to know! If I tell you, you might hate her forever!

Sid: Yes I do want to know! Tell me what the matter is. How can you both just end this relationship of ours without any valid reason! Just say the truth, that you both don't want to see us happy together!

He said in a flow of anger. V.A was shocked and unwanting, she slapped him hard on his cheek. She could feel her hands trembling and he was shocked too. She knew she was wrong to raise her hand on him without him being wrong

V.A: I...I'm so...sorry Aashu!

Sid: It..it's ok...mummy. I don't think I want to know anything more now

He left silently

V.A: Siddharth!

She shouted and then tears started flowing from her eyes

V.A's POV

God! How should I tell him?

Aashu thinks that I hate to see him happy? But he doesn't even have the slightest idea what I'm against this decision. If he gets to know, it'll hurt him more!

Sonia, years ago what happened will hit back so bad, I never imagined! What I hid away for so many years will probably get exposed now!

Sid stepped out and without speaking a word to anyone, he left the house. Abhi and Vaish understood something was wrong. He sat in his car and started towards Avu's house. Before reaching, he thought of trying to call her one last time. Surprisingly, she answered the call. When he told her that he was coming to her house, she immediately stopped him. They decided to meet in a garden near her house
