Previously:
I tense briefly when he reaches back to the sword, but am surprised to see him unclip it and toss it away. It's a small action, but it tells us a lot. He then holds his hands up to show us that he's not holding any other weapons.

"Okay. So can we talk this through? Civilly?"

Peter's POV

"...Something about being enhanced," Mr Stark waves his hand in dismissal, "it's not important."
Not important?! It's CAPTAIN AMERICA!

"I think he'd be hurt to hear that, mr Stark!" I tease.

"Good!" Tony smirks. "Now, where were we?"

"The people?" Hiccup questions. Heh, it's still a weird name. I have to fight a grin ever time I think of it. Good thing I can make whatever expression I want under the mask!

"Don't worry too much about them. They're just nosy and obnoxious." A new voice explains, and we turn to see a man walking up to us, "I'm sure they should be able to keep them at bay."

The dragon is startled at this approach, and growls. The man holds his hands up. "At ease, I'm not the enemy."

Hiccup settles the dragon down with a hand gesture and a pat, but it still growls lowly and paces as it flares at the man.

Mr stark groans. "To what do we owe the displeasure, Coulson."

"Ohh, this is Mr Coulson." I realise. "Pleased to meet you, sir." Sure, Mr Stark doesn't seem to like him very much but that's just Mr Stark for you.

He nods. "Spider-man." He turns to Mr Stark. "I'm here to discuss the... circumstances." He glances at Hiccup and the dragon. "Director Fury witnessed the unusual weather event. He is very interested to see what is happening and would love to work closely to determine what we're dealing with."

"You mean Captain eyepatch wants to take over?" Mr Stark observes. He sucks in air through his teeth dramatically. "Yeah, gonna have to pass on that. I know he'd just end up running tests." I think Mr Stark still holds a grudge about the whole Hydra thing, part of the reason why we didn't let my name be on S.H.I.E.L.D databases.

"I'm assuming we don't get a say in this, aye bud?" I hear Hiccup mutter, though only because of my hearing.

"Aww. You do care!" I tease Mr Stark.

"I must insist—"

"Nope, until I figure out what's going on, Fury can keep his meaty mitts off." Mr Stark cuts Coulson off.

"You called us, Tony." There's a silent threat behind the words. He's basically saying that he can leave us to deal with the public ourselves.

"Doesn't matter, I already called transportation." Mr Stark shrugs. I don't remember seeing him do that. Sure enough, I can hear a distinct engine. Quinjet. "Just keep the reporters away while we load, ok Agent? Can you do that?" The last sentence is said mockingly as a shadow looms over us. I hear Hiccup exclaim in surprise. "And maybe I'll have Pep shoot you an email."

"Have it your way." Coulson sighs, before walking back over to the chaos ensuring at the border.

"What is that thing?!" Hiccup asks, freaking out a bit. The dragon growls at the jet, flaring its wings as if trying to appear bigger.

"Whoa, it's ok! It's called a quinjet, it's just gonna get us all out of here. It's safe, don't worry." I try to assure Hiccup. The quinjet lands down in the grass, Hiccup and the dragon shuffling well away from it. The door opens.

"What are you waiting for," Mr Stark calls as he walks pass. His suit retracts.

"Wait just a minute! Where are we going?!" Hiccup demands, apprehensive. The dragon eyes the quinjet distrustfully.

"My tower," Mr Stark responds, stopping and turning back around to face us. "Where there are no prying eyes or annoying agents."

"I-it's alright, I promise!" I try to assure Hiccup. "Besides, maybe there we'll have a better chance of figuring out what happened."

Hiccup frowns, but ultimately decides to come along. He retrieves his blade and clips it back into place, before rather reluctantly following Mr Stark up the ramp with the dragon in tow. I follow after. I've only been in the quinjet a small handful of times, so it's still weird to get used to. I imagine that I'll travel in them quite often once I get to go out on more missions with the Avengers. Hopefully.

I notice a bunch of people breaking through the border and moving quickly towards us. I increase my pace, determined to get inside and not be forced to answer questions and demands. What is WITH these people today?!

Once I step through the door, the ramp retracts and it closes. I look around to see Mr Stark nowhere in sight. I guess he's setting the co ordinates of the tower? Meanwhile, Hiccup is looking around in complete wonder. He even bends down to feel the carpet.

"So fancy, right?!" I chuckle. He looks up at me, eyes almost sparkling.

"We don't have anything like this at home! Sure, we'd lay some sheep wool, but with dragons it, uh, doesn't seem to last."

He stands up again and traces a hand along the expensive seating. "The technology you have... wow. I thought I was advancing our technology... but here you are!" He chuckles a little at the last sentence, his voice slightly strained. I guess it's hard to come to terms with.

"Sit down, it's so comfy!" I beam. "Besides, we'll be taking off soon."

And there we go! See you next chapter! Gonna be a bit of drama lol.
