Chapter 20

Chat noir P.O.V.

I swam deeper and deeper. It was like this pool of water never ended. Y/n was just out of my reach. Then I saw the bottom. Y/n nestled down in the sand at the floor. I scoped her up, and swam as hard as I could to the surface.

We broke through the water and crashed onto the bridge. I rushed over to y/n and checked her pulse. It's still there. Thank god. I put my ear to her chest. She was barely breathing.

Suddenly, she started coughing. Water spilled out of her mouth as her eyes fluttered open. The fist thing she said was, "where's his miraculous?" I looked around us. I know I had it when we swam up, and I set it down on the bridge. It was gone.

Ladybugs going to be so disappointed in me. But first, I had to deal with y/n. I scoped her up in my arms, and carried her out of the chamber. We jumped roof to roof to the hospital, where I let the doctors and nurses take over.

I started towards my house. Once I was close enough, I slipped into an alley, and detransformed into Adrien.

I walked through my doors to see Felix and ladybug standing there. "We have some news for you, Adrien." Ladybug said. "About an hour ago, your father and Nathalie were arrested. It turns out that your father was hawkmoth, and Nathalie was myura. I'm so sorry."

I froze. I didn't know what to do. How could he do something like this. And now he was gone. I had multiple feeling going through me. Anger, sadness, confusion, and just lost. But deep down, I felt free. It was like I could finally breathe. He was gone. He could no longer control my life. I wouldn't have to do modeling. I could go out with my friends whenever I wanted. I could make decisions by myself. But it still hurt like hell.

The tears started coming down my face. Ladybug walked over, and took me in her arms. I hugged back. After a little while, she pulled away.

"It's your choice if you want to continue living here, or if you want to find somewhere else. You won't have anyone around here anymore, since they were all being payed by your father. So it's probably a good idea to find a place. But it's your choice." She said. I nodded. I didn't want to live here anymore anyway. "Bug out." She said, and left the house.

"How's Y/n?" Asked Felix, when he was sure that ladybug was gone. "She's in the hospital now, but should make a full recovery." I told him. "But after we surfaced, I placed the miraculous on the bridge. But after I made sure y/n was ok, it was gone." I said. Felix went pale. "What if someone took it?" He asked. "Let's just pray that that's not the case." I told him. "Now come on. We should pack up our things." We both headed up to my room, and started packing.

Lila P.O.V.

I looked around the sewer. No one in sight. I slipped the miraculous out of my pocket. I glowing orb shot out of it, and faded into Nooroo, the butterfly kwami.

"Miss Lila, what are we doing. Where's master?" He asked. "Your old masters been locked up. I'm your new master, nooroo." I say. "Nooroo, Dark Wings Rise!" I say. I transform into this:

"This suit is so much better then the one Gabriel had." I say. "Now it actually looks like a butterfly. His name wasn't bad. But he wasn't a hawk, and this is a butterfly not a moth. My name, however, reflects this perfectly.

Before I get down to business, there's a few things I have to do. I need to deal with y/n. Make sure she knows who's boss.

Y/n P.O.V.

I sat in bed and watched the nurse leave my room. They said I should be good to go tomorrow. I'm just glad that this is finally over. I'm excited to see Felix again.

I spot something moving by my window. Then it opens. A woman with wings and a hood covering her face slips into my room. The butterfly miraculous.

"Listen here y/n. My names madame papillon. I'm far more dangerous then the old holder of this miraculous. So whatever i say, goes." She says. Great. So it wasn't over. "You are going to break up with your boyfriend Felix. If you don't, I will hurt him. If you tell anyone about this, I will hurt him, and if you refuse to do anything I tell you to, again, I WILL hurt him. You got that?"

Breaking up with Felix will break his heart. But I couldn't let him get hurt. A tear rolled down my cheek. I nod yes. She smiles, and disappears the way she came.
