The series of unpredictable events

Chapter 18

My hatch opened as Felix stepped inside. "Felix, we need to talk." I said, "I need to know everything you know about y/n's kidnapping." He nods.

"Well, it all started when I found out who hawkmoth is." He says. My eyes widen. "I wanted to try and defeat him, and I needed her to help. So I told her who he was. But I guess she wanted to try and do it on her own, so she went by herself without telling anyone. And I guess she was caught. Hawkmoth wanted to try to get to her anyway because she rejected his powers."  He finishes.

"Can you tell me who hawkmoth is?" I ask. He shakes his head. "I don't want anyone else getting hurt." He replies. "You don't understand. The only way I can save y/n is by knowing who hawkmoth is." I blurt out.  I clamp my hands to my mouth. "Your ladybug then?" He asks, his eyebrows raised. I nod.

"I guess if it's the only way to save y/n, I'll tell you." He says. He takes a deep breath. "It's... My uncle.." he says. I suspected him not to long ago. But he was akumatized so I dropped it. I guess he could have akumatized himself to avert suspicion.

"I have to tell chat noir." I say. "Well, that's just the thing. You can't tell chat noir." He tells me. "He's my partner. I have to tell him." I say. "No you can't. Trust me. I know who he is behind the mask and so does y/n. We both agreed it would be to dangerous for him to know. It would make him vulnerable to akumatization." He tells me.

Why would chat noir care if it was Gabriel? Unless... he's a really big Gabriel agreste fan! Fans can get heartbroken if they find out secrets like that. "Ok." I say. "But how are we going to save her without chat?" I ask. "It can't just be me." "I'll come." Felix tells me. "I'll do anything for her." I nod.

"I have to go out for a patrol soon. We can go and save y/n after that. Try to find out where he's hiding her." I say. He nods. I give him a button. "If anything happens, push this. I'll come as soon as I can." I say

Hawkmoth P.O.V.

Ladybug and chat noir still haven't handed over their miraculouses. And I still have yet to get a word out of y/n. This concerns me. Right now she's being suspended in the air, by her wrists. She has blood and bruises all over, and she still refuses to tell me.

Then I remember something. She always puts others before herself. Maybe if I threaten someone, she'll tell me their identities. But who? Felix. She would do anything for him. And he would do the same for her.

I take y/n back down, and tie her against the poll. Then I head back into my office. I hear the front door open. I peek through my door, and see Felix alone.

Felix P.O.V.

I see Uncle walk out of his office. He's coming towards me. He grabs me. I try to fight him off, but it's no use. I press the button.

He leads me to his office, and into an elevator type thing. We start going down. We enter large chamber. I see y/n, laying strapped to a poll, full of blood. I yell her name.

She lifts her head, and her eyes met mine. The elevator opens, and I try to run to her, but my uncle holds me back.

"Nooroo, Dark Wings Rise!" He says. I look behind me, and instead of seeing my uncle, I see hawkmoth. I try to pull away, but his grip on me is firm. We walk towards y/n.

"Y/n. If you don't tell me who ladybug and chat noir is, I will throw him into the water. "Don't do it y/n. I'll be fine." I tell her.

Y/n's mouth stays shut. "Suit yourself." Hawkmoth says. He picks me up, and throws me over the edge, towards the water.
