The series of unpredictable events

Chapter 10

I woke up, cold, hungry and still sopping wet. I checked my phone. I was late! I quickly slipped on a dry hoddie, put my hair up, and ran to school.

When I entered the classroom, I saw Felix sitting in a seat at the back. Lila was talking to him. "Sorry, I've got a girlfriend." I heard Felix say. "Really? I don't see her." Said Lila. "She's right behind you." I say, walking up behind her. She looks at me with a startled look on her face.

I slap her across the face. "That's for hitting on my boyfriend." I say. I slap her again. "And that's for throwing me off the Eiffel Tower."

She walks back over to her seat, and I sit beside Felix. He gives me a quick kiss on the cheek, and then class starts. No one seems to like Lila anymore, and everyone kept on checking on me to make sure I was alright. Marinette kept on saying sorry everytime she had the chance. I can tell she feels really bad.

Time skip

The last bell rang for the end of the day. I still haven't eaten anything since lunch yesterday. I didn't have any money on me ether. I felt like I was going to pass out.

I said goodbye to Felix and ran over to the alley where my suitcase was. I pretty much collapsed against the wall. I could barely keep my eyes open. I was aching all over. I took a sip from my water.

I don't know how long I'm going to survive on the streets. I really don't want to ask for help. I'll figure out how to make money. But right now, all I could do was sleep.

Time skip again and you can't do anything about it

I woke up on time today. I quickly grabbed my bag and headed over to the school. It's been about 2 days without food now. I'm extremely light headed and starving.

I meet up with Felix in class, and we sit down. I have a really hard time paying attention in class, and the teacher kept on getting mad at me for it. Felix looks concerned but doesn't say anything.

It finally gets to lunch time and I get up to follow everyone to the cafeteria. I don't have any money so I can't buy anything to eat, but I go anyway. Felix walks beside me. It's getting hard to walk in a straight line, or even stay conscious.

Felix turns towards me when we step into the cafeteria to tell me something. I don't hear him. It's like everything was just getting farther and farther away from me. I hear Felix say my name, and then everything goes black.
