It was a long day.

School had ended.

Students were crowding the school entrance, Airis sighed. She really wanted to rush to the nearby mall and buy some chicken wings to eat at home.

Currently, both of her parents are out for work and won't be coming back until late at night.

After a while of waiting, the path clears and Airis hurriedly rushes to the bus stop, catching the bus in time and boards it.

...

"Excuse me, can I have the deluxe chicken wings box set please?" Taking out 20 dollars out of her wallet and handing it over to the cashier who takes a small white cardbox, opens it and place numerous chicken wings and put it in a plasitc bag.

"Thank you, please come again."

Airis nodded and smile. Now that she got her chicken wings, she can basically relax for the rest of the afternoon alone in the house.

...

Closing the door to her room as she enters, she walks towards her desk and pulls out her chair, leaning backwards as she puts her plastic bag on the desk.

Taking out the white cardboard box out, she opens it and takes a chicken wing out of it and starts biting into it.

With one hand, she turns on her phone and starts to read a novel where she had left off.

She places her legs on her desk, in an unladylike position, Airis enjoys the peace of reading without hearing the complaints and pestering of her parents for a few hours.

Only for it to be interrupted abruptly, when she burst out into laughter at one of the scenes she was reading. And accidentally swallowed the chicken bone and it got stuck in the upper airway.

Shocked, Airis starts coughing, to no avail, the chicken bone refuse to budge and soon she was slowly running out of oxygen.

Airis was in horror, she didn't want to die like this. If she wants to die, let her do it herself willingly!

She can't die like this. Sure, she doesn't really love her parents as they are sometimes assholes, but she still loves them regardless.

2 minutes passes, black spots start appearing in her vision, and it fades completely to black.

Airis could only hope, maybe, she would wake up in a hospital.
